So I never thought I needed one of these. However, I found it on sale so I bought it. I got out one full canister full(on my vacuum) and another half canister. I had a heck of a time forcing this to fit on my old Craftsman shop vac, but I was able to force it on and hold on to where it was connected to the vac hose. It worked pretty well and I gave it a decent rating based on what it can do. It really makes a big difference when your dryer is free of all the lint that falls beyond the lint trap. I measured the hose diameter, but apparently not well enough. Probably would work with my house vac, but really wanted the pesky dryer lint to get sucked out by a powerful shop vac. Not sure how sturdy it will be, so gave it an average rating for that. For the price, it's still worth it - dryer is much more efficient now. ... show more

I was a little disappointed that the description and photos show 3 different length hoses. The item only has 1. I have not used it yet, but I'm hoping it does what it says it does. Dryer vents are very important to safety to be clean.

A great way to keep your dryer working efficiently. Of course, cleaning out the venting on a timely schedule helps immensely, but getting into the nicks and crannies is a great solution when you can’t get easy access between laundry loads. Easy to assemble and use. Recommended.

I have a Dyson vacuum cleaner that I bought in 2021. The hose head is a hard plastic piece and larger on the Dyson so it took some strength and time to get the attachment onto the Dyson hose. I initially thought it was not going to fit but eventually it worked. We have an older Cabrio Whirlpool dryer where the dryer vent is in the front of the dryer. I was able to get down into the vent area and I cleaned it out completely. I have never been able to get down into that area. I am happy with this product. ... show more
