I figured out that it was an internal power malfunction since it did the same thing when i switched speakers. I returned it for refund. It has good sound and a thumpin base...while it lasted. I was torn writing this review. I love this stereo system but our remote control got broke and I am having no luck reaching Pyle to see if I can buy a new one or at least tell me what/if any universal remote will work. So, I guess the system itself would be a 5 but my review on Pyle would be 3 so I went right in the middle. If you do get one you’ll love it but keep that remote safe all I did was drop it and now it won’t work. ... show more

UPDATE: I contacted the company thru there support email, and have now been fighting with them for the last 2-3 months. Still haven't found what the actual warranty is on this thing, but what they have offered is for me to send it back to them, paid for by them, and they will repair it. If it's not repairable, they will send me a replacement. So don't ever buy anything from this company. And I will definitely do a little more research on a product before I buy it off of Amazon also. First off, it’s false advertising. The listing says it’s a 1000 watt stereo, and yet it says max watts is 800. It won’t even push a 500 watt sub. It keeps shutting off after playing for a few minutes. Now I’m out $300 because it’s been more than 30 days since I purchased it. I can't find anything about a manufacturers warranty either.
