I originally bought this for my bathroom, but I should have measured it more carefully. It is small! I moved it to the area under my computer table by the legs of the table and it is awesome there! I just wave my hand and the lid opens. Then it closes by itself when I am done disposing of my trash. Very convenient...very pretty...and a great way to hide my trash.

I bought the ELPHECO Bathroom Motion Sensor Trash Can (8 Litre/2 Gallon) about two years ago, and it’s hands-down one of the coolest additions to my home! This slim, smart trash bin with a lid has brought a touch of modern convenience to my bathroom, though it’d work just as well in the bedroom, kitchen, or office. The motion sensor is spot-on—wave your hand, and the lid pops open silently, making trash disposal feel almost futuristic. At 2 gallons, it’s the perfect size for small spaces—sleek enough to tuck beside the sink without hogging room, yet it holds more than you’d expect. The waterproof plastic design is a lifesaver in the bathroom, shrugging off splashes and staying clean with a quick wipe. I love how quiet it is, too—no loud clanging lids here! It’s been a hit for tossing cotton pads, wrappers, and whatever else, all while keeping odors locked in. Pros: • Motion sensor works flawlessly—fast and hands-free! • Slim design fits perfectly in tight spaces. • Waterproof and easy to clean, ideal for bathroom use. • Quiet operation—no slamming or noise. • Keeps smells contained with a snug lid. Cons: • Battery life (for the sensor) could last longer—I swap them every few months. • Only 2 gallons, so it fills up quick if you’re tossing bulky stuff (but great for small waste). This little trash can is a brilliant mix of style, smarts, and practicality. It’s made daily life that much easier, and I’m genuinely impressed with how well it performs. Highly recommend for anyone looking to upgrade their trash game!

When it comes to trash cans, I never thought I'd be excited about one until I came across the ELPHECO Automatic Motion Sensor Trash Can. This sleek and modern design caught my eye instantly, and I knew I had to give it a try. After using it for a while, I can confidently say that it's a fantastic addition to any room, with just a few minor drawbacks. Let's start with the aesthetics because, let's be honest, this trashcan is a stunner. The combination of white and gold trim exudes a sense of elegance and sophistication, making it a beautiful accent piece that elevates the look of any space. The slim, cylindrical shape also helps it fit seamlessly into tight corners or against walls, maximizing space efficiency. But the real star of the show is the automatic motion sensor feature. No more fumbling with lids or worrying about touching a dirty can – simply wave your hand in front of the sensor, and the lid opens smoothly and quietly. It's a game-changer for busy kitchens, offices, or bathrooms, where hygiene and convenience are paramount. Another aspect I appreciate is the size. At 2 gallons, it's perfect for smaller spaces or areas that don't generate a lot of trash. It's not too bulky or obtrusive, yet it still has enough capacity to last a reasonable amount of time between emptying. However, there is one area where this trashcan falls a bit short, and that's the trash bag holder. While the can itself is well-designed, the internal mechanism for holding the trash bag in place can be a bit finicky. If the bag isn't positioned just right, it can slip down or come loose, causing frustration and potential spills. It's a minor inconvenience, but one that could be improved upon. Despite this flaw, the ELPHECO Automatic Motion Sensor Trash Can remains a solid choice for anyone seeking a stylish, modern, and convenient trash solution. The automated opening feature alone is worth the investment, and the sleek design is sure to complement any decor. Just be prepared to spend a little extra time ensuring the trash bag is properly secured, and you'll be all set to enjoy a hassle-free and hygienic experience. So... if you're in the market for a trash can that combines form and function, the ELPHECO Automatic Motion Sensor Trash Can is a fantastic option. It's stylish, convenient, and a true space-saver. While the trash bag holder could use some improvement, it's a minor quibble in an otherwise excellent product. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a touch of modern elegance in their home or office.

Other than trash bags being very thin and flimsy it was perfect in my bathroom . Matched my decor which is what I was going for . The directions of usage , batteries , lining trash bag could have been better written ; but for the value of money spent it sufficed. Lid /sensor works great . Easy to clean. I would have rather have had the batteries than the trash bags or both. Overall not an awful purchase.

I recently added the Motion Sensor Trash Can to my home, and it’s been a game-changer! The 2-gallon capacity is just right for my bathroom, bedroom, kitchen, or office. Plus, the white with gold trim design is so chic, it makes my other trash cans look like they need a makeover. The motion sensor feature is like having a tiny butler who opens the lid for you. It’s super responsive and only opens when needed, so no more accidental lid flips when you walk by. The slimline design is perfect for tight spaces. It fits snugly without being an eyesore. The build quality is top-notch, and it’s easy to clean, which is a big win in my book. One minor drawback is the trash bag holder. It can be a bit clumsy to figure out at first, so I’m interested to see how it holds up long term. Overall, I highly recommend the this trash can. It’s stylish, functional, and a great conversation starter. If you’re looking for a trash can that makes you feel like royalty every time you throw something away, this is the one to get!
