This griddle performs well. It heats up quickly and is non stick. Just one complaint, it isn't quite level. I've situated the griddle on a flat surface and oil always pools on the edges.

    • Electric component did not fit into grill

The media could not be loaded. I could tell as soon as I saw the box I figured it was returned as the pkg had been opened & slightly torn. The item was not damaged that I could see so as it was a present, I left it in the box. When it finally came time to use, we found The electrical component would NOT fit into the griddle. We tried & tried but no luck. UDATE The grill was Exchanged quickly & easily for a new grill. It was a tight fit but it did make a connection. This new grill works great. However, the heating element is underneath the grill, as would be expected, but tho it is surrounded with a metal rim, the actual heating coil is open on the bottom & as the unit is short, the actual heating coil is REALLY close to the counter & the first time I used it I found something melted underneath the grill. Could not figure out how that happened until we looked underneath the grill & found the open coil. Really seems like that is a fire hazard! Just a warning on this‼️ Also the electrical cord is too short to plug In conveniently to my kitchen wall. This Mite not be a problem for others, but it is a very short cord. We do like the grill & will keep it, but you need to be aware of these problems. ... show more

My kitchen doesn't have a lot of counter space. Considering how much I use the counter for food prep, I can't have a large electric griddle. This one is small, and perfect for me.
