I had an expensive air fryer, which fulfilled it's duties for years. It had the see through function to enable me to see the cooking progress etc. In replacing it I opted to an air fryer that has no see through glass function, (which, as it turned out to be, matters not, since with this unit, I was able to, briefly, remove the container, safely, and check the progress of cooking, all while the unit shut down to to ensure safety) nor an expensive price tag. I searched for, either, glass or stainless steel interior to reduce any exposure to toxics and expected to spend more than I ended up spending on this unit. Wow. This air fryer, thus far, performs ultimately. I prepared various dishes, almost obsessively, in the past few days, to test it. And, so far, it is, ironically, better than the expensive one that I had, previously owned. What a bargain! This air fryer works really well. I purchased a "Renewed" one and it came in very good condition. It had some micro scratches that I didn't notice unless looking very closely. It didn't come in the factory box, but it was nicely packaged with some expanding filling the void space in the box to protect the item and also included was an instruction manual. The cooking temperature range is 180-400 degrees and it has a built-in timer that shuts itself off after and chimes when it is finished. The cord is adequate measuring 36" and it's of the 2 prong style. The instructions include some basic cooking parameters for different foods and has a handful of recipes to try. I've used it for frozen and fresh foods and the unit does really good at cooking small portions of food, but larger portions need to be rearranged several times to get an even cook, but it's not that much of a hassle. The temperature settings go in multiples of 10 starting at 400 when you turn it on and you adjust down to your desired temperature, but for some reason the top of the unit has a sort of cheat sheet for temperatures to cook different foods at and shows them all ending in 5 which this unit is unable to be set at, so not exactly useful. This is my first air fryer and I was always a little sceptical of all the hype, but I find overall this to be a good kitchen appliance I'll use often because it generally cooks food faster than in the oven by a good margin. Some foods like frozen cheese sticks and tater tots are better than when cooked in the oven, but not quite as good as deep fried. Some foods like frozen burritos I can't tell much of a difference than when cooked in the oven though the cook time is faster, and I do lightly spray a light coat of olive oil on the items as instructed for a crispier result. Overall I'm well satisfied with my purchase and again amazed at getting another Amazon renewed product that works well and can hardly tell it was used at all. ... show more

Very easy to use, easy to clean, the only thing I'd say is that you can't put the basket in the dishwasher, I had a little spot with rust showing up after a few washes, so just wash with dish soap, I still put the tray in the dishwasher though.
