Color: ABS Translucent 1000g
This resin has been very difficult to use and there is not a lot of support for print settings and post cure processes. If your a beginner, I would suggest getting a resin that is not translucent. After some reasearch and talking with colleges, I have found that the clear resins tend to have some special characteristics: - The UV light will bleed through while printing, causing the prints to have additional half cured drippy surface. I have found that this can be taken off between wash and cure, but it is a tedious extra step. This gets better with slower lift speed (I use 60mm/s) - The cure time (for me) of this resin is 9s (elegoo Saturn s [monochrome]). This is much longer than what is documented on the website. - The viscosity of this resin is very high. It is advertised to print best at 20-25c, but my reasearch has told me these structural resins print better at 30c. I will be trying this soon. Edit: printing at higher temperatures helps a lot. It lowered my cure time and allowed me to use a faster retract speed. ... show more

  • Great resin
Color: ABS Transparent 500g
I really enjoyed this resin. I knew it wasn't going to be like clear glass but it definitely had a frosted glass appearance to it. Just make sure you follow the directions for exposure time and it should be just fine for you

  • Great material for 405nm
Color: ABS Grey 500g
I would like to preface by admitting I was running this material on a 385nm (Asiga max) printer, which worked, but I do not recommend. The quality and accuracy of the prints were top notch and if my printer were 405nm I would continue to use this resin. The reasonable cost and great quality weren't comparable to any other resins I've run before or since. Clean up was also extremely easy, but I use a sonic bath, which means that normal. ... show more

  • Good Resin on smaller printers. Not so great on large printers
Color: ABS Grey 500g
This is my go-to resin for a long time. I enjoy using it and find it to give resolution and print results. It is thicker than model resin and thus needs more care to print. You need to be careful when printing on a larger printer as it is thicker and requires more care to get it print consistently on difficult models. Overall a good value for the results ... show more

  • Used bottle sent but refunded prompty
Color: ABS Smoky Black 1000g
Elegoo contacted me promptly and refunded the product even though the order was old and the bottle was technically still around half filled. Amazing service in all honestly and cannot recommend more. --------no longer relevant-------- The bottle came open (metal seal was ripped in, no plastic like others) when I finally got to using it from my backlog. Trusted the product would be good and it's been too long to open dispute. Always check the products are new when they arrive, learned it the hard way. ... show more

  • My Go-To resin
Color: ABS Grey 500g
I've got a Mars 2 Pro (with a flexible build plate). This resin rocks! To calibrate, I've printed two different test prints and found that 3 seconds is the best exposure time (color=grey). This resin is very strong, and produces wonderful details.

  • Great post-processing color (stays white)
Color: ABS White 1000g
This is some good resin. I haven't strayed far from the brand that my printer (Nova3D Elfin2) came with, but I wasn't happy with their white. As shown in the photos after curing Nova3D's white turns almost a sepia color... if you will? This ELEGOO ABS-Like Rapid Resin stays white or at least a better shade of white. I posted a photo of an octopus, it's the test file that comes with my printer, that guy has sat outside for a few weeks at this point. Still just as white as ever. In the other photo, I printed some wall mounting brackets for my Bose SoundTouch monitor speakers. On the left is the Nova3D Resin and on the right is the ElEGOO ABS-Like. This stuff is great for printing lithophanes. It's successfully printed up to .1mm layer height (for faster printing). The Bose Bracket and the Octopus are both printed at .035mm layer height. Honestly unless you're looking and not-post processing, 99% of the things I print in resin now can be printed at .1mm layer height. A layer of paint covers up almost any layer marks, plus this stuff is strong. I will have to post a question to the maker.. I'm unable to dial in the perfect first layer settings.... Everything I try this thing sticks to the build plate like it was supposed to be married to it. I end up breaking the model by trying to force it off. The only way I've come around this was just put supports on everything, even the base, but with the Nova3D Standard Resin I didn't have to do that, it comes off perfectly (with just a tad force). I have been using the clippers that come with my printer as a trick to get the model to lift up, then once it's given up a bit of the adhesion I use the spatula... anyone recommend a new way? I'm new to resin (5 months) ... show more

  • The best resin I've used so far.
Color: ABS Grey 500g
I like to try lots of different resins. So far this is the best resign I've used. I've made some miniatures that came out great. I've made a few light duty tools that are holding up well. And I made a couple of mounts and displays that are holding 20 pounds or so of weight, so if the holder is engineered properly, no problem with this resin bearing some load. On my test chips, with the correct settings on the Elegoo Mars 3 (the out of the box default, or a 2.3 second exposure too), it can print every detail of my test chip, and is the only resin I've used so far that can! ... show more
