Good scope at an economical price. It appears well made and held zero after firing about 100 rounds at the range. Optics are clear, and the focus requires the use of both focus rings to achieve a crisp image. You can get better optics but you are going to pay more.

Very good value at the $72 price point I was able to get it at with a discount code CVLIFE offered through a 704 Tacticle deal alert. I'm not sure I'd be exactly happy at the $115 list or even the $89 street price on Amazon. Seems well enough made with better optical clairity than the most similar competitor the UTG Bug Buster. It doesn't do well at 9-10X but up to 8.5X it's surprisingly clear. There is some limited fish eye away from the center 40% of the field of view but the whole field of view stays in focus so much better than most budget optics. Eye relief is good and eye box acceptable up to 8X. After that not so much. There's a theme developing here. The red illumination is a bit dimmer than the green making it not quite daylight sunshine bright. The green is though. For those of you wanting to use this as a flexible CQ optic with the option to zoom, not really for the same reason an LPVO falls short at that task compared to a 1X red dot. The big one with budget optics : parallax. The parallax is VERY limited at 8X. About an inch or so variation at the 70 yards I was testing it at. For $72 that's really good! At 9-10X the parallax increases quickly. Adding to the overall theme. Conclusion: CVLIFE should just dial the high end back a little and market this as a 2-8X with it actually achieving the 8.5X it still works well at. All the issues are above 8.5. It's better to undersell and over deliver. Overall pretty nice at the right price. I'd give it 5 stars it it worked well at the 9 and 10X. I'd have still bought it marketed as a 2-8X and it would have given it 5 stars.

I put this on my entry level AR with the included mount. The quality seems to be really good, the different color reticle is very nice in low light situations. It went together very easily and is holding its zero after a few hundred rounds so far. It seems to be a good choice for someone who does not want to pay more for the optic than the AR costs. It will work well for my home defense weapon. I highly recommend it to anyone who is cost conscious and looking for a great optic.

For the price range quality is 5 star. Turrets adjust predictably, glass is clear and distortion free on my example. AO range markings are usable. Controls are smooth but slightly stiff, a raised nub would be nice. Eye box is a little picky but not a deal breaker. The reticle design is fantastic, quick target acquisition. The lighted reticle is clear no flare and 5 stage of brightness is evenly stepped up. Like that it just lights center circle and dot

All around amazing buy. You won't be disappointed. Best part about it is the IR feature. Most scopes has a visible halo inside the scope when turned on. Not this one. SEE FOR YOURSELF. It's worth every penny. I ordered 2 👍🏾

Great scope for the money. 5 stars for the price but realistically no scope in this price range should get 5 stars, hence the 4-star rating. The Good: -Appears well made. Solid construction. -Illuminated reticle works well. Better than others I've seen at this price point. - Surprisingly clear optics - Included mount is decent and saves money on rings or another mount. - Flip up lens covers are another nice bonus. The less than good- - Feels heavy for such a small scope. That said, my son who also bought one thought it was lighter than he expected. - Eye relief is acceptable at lower powers and poor at higher powers. - Some chromatic distortion at high powers when looking off center. To be expected at this price point -My son felt that the crosshairs were thicker than he would like. For my application I actually prefer them for fast target acquisition. Bottom line- This scope is perfect someone who wants to add a scope to a secondary or back-up rifle. I put it on a milsurp rifle that I just didn't want to spend a lot of money on. In that application I'm very happy with it. Time will tell if it can handle recoil in the long term.
