Been using this for a few months now. Bought it to replace a dyson pet vac when the swivel head on it started leaking. Definitely superior to the dyson for less money. The construction is more solid and the light is a nice bonus. Pros It's an Electrolux. I have a canister that I inherited from my mother. Not sure how many decades old it is. Still runs and cleans like a shop vac. If this lasts half as long I'll be happy. Solid construction and great vacuum. Light to see where you're cleaning. Two power settings (I always use the highest). Easy to charge. Great design for removing the hand held vac to empty or use in the car. Cons Haven't found any yet. Not sure how long it runs but I've never had the battery die when cleaning my whole house. 3/2 1,500 sq ft house. I might have to stop to empty it depending on if the cat is shedding more than usual. UPDATE about a year of use: Cons: Shuts off after running for 30-60 seconds. Battery is fully charged. Press start and it will run for 30-60 more seconds. Nozzle is too small and clogs on pet hair making it unusable. You'll h ave to snake the pet hair out of the nozzle several times when using it. Just the right suction, battery life is good so far, and the weight and functionality are perfect. Also like that this has exchangeable attachments so you can do bedding and seating areas with a different brush than you use in the floor areas. Great for stairs too, since the hand held portion just snaps away from the main body. Overall, I like this much more than my previous stick vacuum (bissell featherweight), which crapped out on me after about 1.5 years of use. We have all hard floors with area rugs, and this is perfect for daily use with indoor animals… still use a larger vacuum on rugs every few days for a deeper clean, but this does okay on low pile carpet. ... show more

**7/17/24: customer service finally sent me instructions on refund/replacement. It took awhile, but they did come through. I still stand by that I do love this vacuum. And definitely giving it another chance!! Loved the vacuum performance. Stopped working suddenly after 3 weeks of purchase. I have made 4 lengthy phone calls to replace the vacuum. Sent in my invoice and warranty card. I keep getting told I’ll receive an email with instructions to replace with another vacuum. It’s been months and nothing. They also say that the serial number of my vacuum is registered to someone unrelated to me. Even though I sent in my warranty card. This must be because someone else received this at one time and returned. ?? I feel like I am not dealing with a legitimate company. ... show more

I purchased this vacuum as a quick clean up tool for the kitchen since I cook at home a lot. One of the biggest issues is how this device struggles to pick up small crumbs off of the floor. Not sure who designed the brush head of this model, but it is an awful design that needs to be reconsidered.
