I’ve been using the Smoker Grill over the July 4th weekend, and I can confidently say it’s a game-changer for backyard cooking. The versatility is no gimmick. I’ve smoked ribs, seared steaks, roasted veggies, and even baked a cobbler on it. Everything comes out with that rich, wood fired flavor you just can’t get from gas or charcoal. The PID temperature control makes a huge difference. It holds temp steady, even on windy days, so I’m not constantly babysitting it. This smoker is amazing, quality is incredible, the metal is thick, all the holes lined up when putting it together. It was easy to put together. Two of us did so fast together for assembling. I have grilled/smoked chicken, pork chops and ribs. This pellet grill is very close to the smoke flavor from the large wood smoke. This thing is well made, does great job smoking, also super easy to wheel around because it's light weight. Temperature control is little bit over smoke because of heat well. This size of the grill is perfect for family single use everyday, not big like gas grill, we like it very much

Why did you pick this product vs others?: This was the worst gift ever for my husband. He got so frustrated. I have spent the entire holiday, trying to assemble it, just to learn that the legs are not properly drilled, the correct distance apart in the barrel so that the brackets do not fit, not all pieces were provided, and I still have a random mystery piece that is not featured in the manual. Don’t waste your time or money.

I have just started smoking meat using charcoal and wood. The worst part is babysitting smoker so I researched options and landed on pellet smoker. Seems to be most convenient but complaints were not enough smoke taste. Was very anxious about a Boston butt which is a 10 to 12 hour smoke because of other things I needed to do. I was pleasantly surprised when temps held very closely to set temperature, I'm used to 50 to 75 degree temp swings. Worked flawlessly, very impressed. Looked at all smokers and brands before I stumbled on this one. Not well known name to me but the reviews were very high so I decided to go with it because of price since I'm not familiar with pellet grills. I would think it would be hard to beat this smoker for double the price. The readout is very bright and bold. I decided it seems to run itself so I would mow yard. Kept driving by to check temps and could see temp from very good distance. Well I have only used it a few times because I just got it after only 3 days after my order. Easy to put together, screwdriver only. No brainer. I did add some felt gasket around door and put a bungee on handle to hold it closed tight only because I didn't like smoke coming out the front in my face. Has holes in back for ventilation. Also it is so easy to clean. You can wrap the drip pan/heat shield with heavy duty foil and wipe off when removed. I noticed there is a lot of dust in bottom where ashes blow around due to fan blowing. I'm sure they all do that but there is plenty of room under heat shield so I am going to try a pan of water under it to see if it will capture most of it and will add moisture to chamber if nothing else. This is truly a modern marvel. P.S. I have heard you can't get the bark and taste of a wood fired smoker but check out picture of bark on that butt. I did use a smoker tube inside. I suggest a tube or wood chip box for added smoke if needed. We'll made and total value for money. I like the size. Didn't need a large unit. Some said it was too short but didn't seem to be a problem for me. Hard to please everyone I guess.
