Best $100 piece of exercise equipment I have ever spent. It is perfect and small, compact and really good for an apartment! I am 61 and have spine disease and I have had a regular size treadmill in the past. I gave it away due to space and really regretted not being able to walk when the weather is bad outside, so I did research and was crossing my fingers. I am 5’3” 135 pounds and it is the perfect size. The bar is at the perfect height for safety so I can maintain my balance. I don’t hold it the whole time but it’s right there to keep me on Balance. It feels similar to a shopping cart to me-the height. My feet have plenty of room to walk it’s very comfortable. I don’t have to take small steps -just a normal stride and my feet are not close to the outer edges to where I feel like I’m gonna catch the treadmill and fall (being older I take slightly wider steps naturally). My feet don’t come close to the rear end of the treadmill either. It’s perfect. I was scared it was gonna be too small and I was gonna be burdened with “how do I return a heavy object” but there is no issue it’s a perfect amount of incline not too much not too little to make it just a little bit more muscle building-if your contemplating whether this is too small or if you’re a senior and your hesitant, I’m here to tell you that it’s a perfect treadmill. It’s much better than the regular size one that I had in the recent past. The space requirements are minimal. It is packaged well too, heavy cardboard and I requested to “hide what’s inside” so it would have an extra layer of packing protection but honestly it didn’t need that. I read many reviews that said the speed was off and I honestly can’t tell yet it’s too soon, however I’m just going to measure my distance with time elapsed because I know that I walk a 20 minute mile so I just pushed the start button and walk for 20 minutes and know I walked a mile. I've had this folding walking pad for three months now and it has been one of the best decisions I have made in a long time! Sure, it has some flaws - More on those later on. But overall, I couldn't ask for much better at this price point. I have a very small home and I needed something that was versatile for the space I do have. This treadmill is very easy to fold back up each time I am done using it which I truly appreciate given my space constraints. If a treadmill like this required much more effort than what's already required for me to actually use it - namely getting up early to workout, watching my diet, ignoring the voices telling me to skip the treadmill nearly every day lol - I wouldn't use it. So it needs to be very simple - And it is! One particular feature I appreciate at this price point is the ability to pause your workout at any point and resume where you were when you return. I love that feature and I use it a lot - to answer the phone, to grab some water, or just to take a break. It's a fantastic feature! As for the flaws, I broke the "tablet" holder almost the very first time I laid the bars down to fold up the treadmill! It was flimsy but I was also absent minded and forgot it was there when I laid down the bars. Still, watch out for that, if you can help it. And speaking of the bars, after I had been walking on the treadmill or ""pad"" for maybe a month and a half, the bars started falling down when I walked on it. I tried to tighten it up with the included tools but I'm not really mechanically inclined and can't seem to make them stay up during my workout. It is annoying but it certainly hasn't slowed down my efforts to use my walking pad for exercise. Finally, since we are in winter at the moment, the metal bar has been giving me a great deal of shock when I inadvertently touch it during my workouts. I added a pool noodle to the bar and for the most part that issue has been eliminated! I've included pictures here of my pool noodle fix! Can't pool noodles just fix about everything?!! Woman, 5’6”, short-ish gait, generally a fast walker. TLDR; handlebar too short, made extensions to raise handle bar height out of PVC for $3 I wanted a walking pad for bad weather days when I was too tired to lift. After looking for a used one and only finding they were going for as much as new ones I landed on this one because it has a handrail, a remote, can incline and was less than $100. The walking pad itself is fine. It’s a walking pad. I didn’t expect much from a sub-$100 machine and as long as your expectations are low, you’ll be pleasantly surprised. Pros: -Motor is relatively quiet. -It can incline, though only one position and you manually have to do adjust it. -There’s a remote. -It easily will do 5 mph and my feet don’t feel like they are going to fly off the back. -There’s a handrail. Cons The handrail is very short. I’m 5’6” and it’s right at my hips, not ideal. **HANDRAIL HACK** If you are like me and looked at the product pictures and scoffed at the photoshopped lady on the walking pad that shows the handrail being nearly eye level, but bought this anyway, hi, welcome to my Ted talk. Standing desks and seperate treadmill handrails are all $100+ dollars and cost nearly as much as the machine itself. In this economy?? Hard pass. I looked at handlebar extensions for bicycles that would attach to this handrail. Spoiler alert they only raise the height by about 3”, and in this case, that hardly made any difference. Don’t buy those. I also looked at stroller handle extenders, and they were just too expensive ($30-$40) for what I consider reasonable. So after measuring the diameter of the hole the handlebar sits in, I bought a piece of 2’ x 1/2” PVC for about $3 from the hardware box store. I cut it in half and then measured where the holes would need to be after considering that I wanted the handle bar to be about 8” taller. I wrapped the very bottom in duct tape to ensure a snug fit and drilled holes for the pins. An extra set of pins goes for about $8 on Amazon. I said pass and realized pencils will achieve the same result for free. I drilled holes in two pencils, cut to my desire length and put two keychain rings in holes I drilled. I think the rest is self explanatory, but I put the duct tape end in the bottom, inserted the pins, put the handlebar over the PVC, put the pencils through the holes and voila, raised handlebar at the height I need. So, if you are also semi-frugal and handy, you too can modify this walking pad handle to meet your needs. 4/5 would recommend this walking pad for ease of use. I love this compact tread mill. I gave 5 stars, even though it's not as quiet as I thought it would be. I have to turn the TV up a lot (10 higher than normal) just to hear what is being said, but it's quieter than the tread mills at the gym. The compact size is awesome and it's so light/easy to assemble and move that it makes up for the little bit of noise. The only other drawback is the max speed. I wish it went a little faster than 7.6 mph. I realize that I walk faster than that, but this is a "me" issue, not a product issue. I use it all the time. It's still worth every penny! ... show more

    • Nice and compact to use when in a long meeting
I like this product because it is quiet enough to hear my meetings over the sound from the walking pad. I sit for about 6 or 7 hours a day. This is very helpful in keeping my knees and hips from aching by the end of the day. I use this in front of my computer which is next to my bed. I roll the foldable walking pad under the bed at the end of the meeting. I usually have a long meeting twice a week. It is very stable and at almost 72 years old, its weight is light enough with the wheels to roll it under my bed when not in use. Hopefully Ivan stay somewhat fit as I get older. ... show more

This Kassadin folding treadmill comes almost completely assembled and feels sturdy. The usable running surface is 15 inches by 37 inches (see photos). However, there were several things that I didn't like. The advertised max speed of 7.6 mph (faster than 8 minute mile) does not seem to be accurate. I haven't run a sub 9-minute mile in a long time, yet on this treadmill the 7.6 mph was extremely easy. The treadmill's speed and system target (distance, time, or calories) require use of the included remote control. So, you need to keep this with you while you run. The advertisement shows that there is an included plastic tray for you to place a phone or tablet. Really you would need to put the remote control and your phone/tablet there, but it is very small (as shown in the photo). Worse, as you run, it bounces. I could not keep the phone or remote control on the plastic tray while running; it always fell off. So, the tray is pretty much useless. The unit is very loud in operation, which I expected. If you plan on running in front of a TV, which I did, you really need to pump up the volume. What's worse, the system sounds, which go off when you turn it on or adjust the speed, etc., are extremely loud and there is no way to adjust this. This treadmill is supposed to be about 40 pounds. I did not weigh it, but it did seem too heavy to be moving it around my home. It does have small, built-in wheels, which you can use to wheel it around your home. That is nice, but you have fold down the bar that is used to support the plastic tray (for your phone/tablet) first. That bar is secured with bolts that require use of an Allen wrench. I did not like the idea of spending a few minutes before and after every run, grabbing an Allen wrench and slowly removing these bolts, folding down the bar, keeping track of the removed bolts, and then wheeling it around. It is nice, simple machine. I love that you can give it a slight incline simply by adjusting the wedges on the bottom. I've walked up to an hour and it's fine even though it says not to walk long periods of time. The mph is way slower than it says. So whereas I usually walk about at 3.0 for a brisk walk on a treadmill, for the pad I have to set it to 5.0. That makes everything else inaccurate, the timer is the only thing that displays accurately. It is definitely loud when beeping and beeps several times to start. It's extremely short, I'm 5"8 and I have to FOCUS to not fall off. My husband can't use it, I wouldn't recommend it to a taller person. It's fine for someone that just wants something to walk on with a slight incline. ... show more
