I ordered this to use outside under my gazebo. Electric heaters won’t put out as much heat as propane heaters, but this is a decent unit. Easy to put together. Radiates warmth a few feet around the heater. I live in a windy area, so I won’t leave it out all the time, as even with the metal base it’s a little too heavy and I worry the wind would knock it over. The media could not be loaded. Over I’m pleased with the Heater, I live in the NE and needed to heat my Garage as it is also my home office. The heater came on time and had all screws needed to assemble. I think the heater is missing the anti-coverage bracket unless that a separate order, it was not in the box. Also only two of the three heating elements work. I may have to open it up and make sure the element is secure. ... show more

I keep it at home. Direct heat works really well, it lights up when you turn it on, but it gives off a lot of heat. When we sit at a small table, we can keep warm all around us. The heater gives off quite a bit of heat, perfect for keeping warm on cool nights.
