I got an old version from my mother, and our old battery can opener ended up breaking from too much use. Found this replacement on Amazon - couldn't find the one we used before. We've only used it a few times, but it works. Zipper around the can at any time, leaving no sharp edges, which is an improvement. We have used it on several different sizes of cans, and so far it has worked well on all of them. I definitely recommend this can opener.
