  • Easy Dependable way to clear snow
Style: w/Heated Handles (No Battery/Charger)
Based on some of the comments, I'm not sure that all are reviewing the newer model LMT-2130/34 with a few enhancements over some of EGO's older models that have been around a while. This blower has had plenty of power for the type of wet snow we tend to get. So far I've had to use it five times and the highest snow total was 5 inches, so keep that in mind when comparing. If you're in an area that typically sees storm totals under 10 inches or so - this single stage might be what you're looking for. There is plenty of power to move snow and the only time I had to worry about the chute plugging was going through the salted/icy slush left by snow plows at the end of the driveway, and that was only one out of five times I've used it so far. When the chute plugs, it is fairly easy to clear just by tilting lifting front off pavement and dropping it back down to shake the pluggage clear without removing your hands from the handlebar. The blower itself weighs approximately the same as a lawnmower so this action doesn't take a lot of strength or weight. The main complaints about previous versions seemed to be about getting stuck in driveway cracks, etc. and the resulting wear on the steel auger and scraper bar. With the new skid shoes on this model, I've not had it catch on any concrete cracks at all, and it pretty dependably scrapes down to pavement in one pass. In my limited use so far, the scraper bar hasn't worn at all. The up/down tilt of the chute on this model is rock solid as opposed to previous model reviews where it tended to get loose and drift after a while. It was nice to be able to control that from the handlebar, although it isn't something I change a lot. The side to side adjustment is quick and easy. Not a change from the previous model, but a huge improvement from the single stage front discharge blower I had previously. This difference is way more about user comfort than moving snow, as you can easily direct the snow to keep you out of the cloud of snow you create. This model doesn't come with batteries, but I've found that two 7.5Ah batteries running full speed can easily handle a residential driveway and sidewalk with about half capacity remaining. There really isn't a need to run full auger speed all the time, though. Being able to dial this down seems very helpful in smaller more powdery snowfalls. Overall very happy with this blower, the time it has saved me, and how much clearer I've been able to keep my driveway and sidewalks compared to years past with manual shoveling. ... show more

  • Good machine. Thanks ego. Good machine. Thanks ego.
Style: w/Heated Handles (No Battery/Charger)
Good battery life, on the first gear. You really don't need more power but you got it there.😊👍 it's not so heavy and not that big, so it's perfect for a household. It's not that hard to push, plus you get some exercises so look at it on the bright side. The only downside is the bolts... They are already rust it... So I'm going to see with the warranty when they start to break. I only had it for a season. ... show more

  • Impressive power for its size, even in wet snow
Style: w/Heated Handles (No Battery/Charger)
I recently picked up this EGO Power+ 21" blower, and I’ve been thoroughly impressed by how powerful it is given its lightweight size. I have used it to clear about 5 to 6 inches of accumulation, ranging from light dry powder to heavy wet slush, and it clears it all without hesitation. It is definitely a capable machine for moderate snowfalls. Feature-wise, the battery life has been excellent; it provides ample runtime to clear my entire driveway on a single charge without needing to stop. I use two 4ah EGO batteries. I also found the heated handles to be incredibly useful. I didn't think much of them at first, but they make a significant difference when you are out in the freezing cold for an extended period. The only real trade-off to consider is that, because it is a single-stage blower, it isn't self-propelled. You do have to use some force to push it, unlike larger two-stage gas blowers that pull themselves along. However, if you don't mind putting in a little physical effort, the performance and convenience of this electric unit make it a solid choice. ... show more

Three stars because I haven’t used it yet on snow. Made extremely well. Looks like it will do a great job. I will update the review after it snows.

  • This tool does not include the required batteries. This tool does not include the required batteries.
Style: w/Heated Handles (No Battery/Charger)
Pros: - Decent bang for the buck - Minimal easy assembly - Muscles through snow - Easy to adjust chute - Heated handle grips - LED Lights Cons: - Batteries not included - Folding the handle in for storage requires adjusting the chute for clearance - Occasionally catches on uneven surface seams I have to say first, that I don't have experience using other snowblowers. However, I moved to a location where it snows decently in the winter. Since I already own a line of EGO summer equipment, I already had batteries that were not in use during the winter months. Since this model is offered without batteries, it offers a lower price point. It arrived quickly, and I was able to attach the chute with the included hex key tool. The lights and heated handles are great, but of course what matters is that it works well and delivers powerful performance while not draining the batteries much. Also, the fact that it permits the use of two different sized batteries is perfect, since this is my case. I use 10.0 and 7.5 AH batteries and was able to use it three times on my driveway and sidewalk before recharging. I think this snowblower was a good decision overall, so I'm giving it 5/5 stars. ... show more

  • Amazon could care less about your purchase.
Style: w/Heated Handles (No Battery/Charger)
Had an issue with 4" of snow first run! It would keep stopping or overloading when clearing small snow mounds. I don't feel it lives up to the expectations or performance, and I tried to return it to Amazon. It was just out of their return window and they wouldn't budge on taking it back. I called Ego directly and they were very helpful and supported me, and are sending out a replacement. My feedback is for anyone looking to buy the Ego, I think they are good products and the support is excellent. I have other products from Ego and they work perfectly, including the riding zero turn. My advice is don't buy bigger ticket items like this from Amazon, they don't support you at all. I would buy from local Lowe's or Ace Hardware who have better customer service and support. ... show more

  • Wet heavy snow? No problem Wet heavy snow? No problem
Style: w/Heated Handles (No Battery/Charger)
I ran this in a huge Colorado snowstorm here not that long ago and we got over 2ft of snow. Ran it in over 12 inches of snow on the driveway and yea it didn’t take it all at once but it did great work and saved me prob an hour or more of shoveling. Threw the snow super far, heated handles are a great thing and work amazing. The best part is they moved the chute handle up top so no bending or stopping, quickly adjust where you want the snow. This specific bundle doesn’t come with a charger or batteries however if you have the brand then you just need at least 5ah batteries for peak power. Other than that it works amazing. Have used it a few times since but will update if it’s breaks or has issues. ... show more
