I purchased this snowblower after reading the description on Amazon, which claimed it could handle up to 20" of snow. Living in the snowbelt of Northeast Ohio, I needed a unit capable of managing heavy snowfall. Unfortunately, that’s not the case here. The auger is much smaller than expected—around 10"—which is undersized for a 26" x 20" intake. With that setup, there’s simply no way this snowblower can manage deep or dense snow effectively. After unboxing, it was immediately clear this machine isn’t suited for the kind of snow volume we routinely get. Another disappointment was the LED light. I assumed it was powered by the engine, but it actually runs on three AAA batteries. That detail should have been made clearer in the product listing. In general, the unit feels flimsier than others I’ve owned. There’s more plastic than I anticipated, which raises concerns about long-term durability. On the positive side, assembly was straightforward, the design is visually appealing, and the engine started on the second pull — always a good sign. Overall, while it might be fine for lighter snowfall or smaller driveways, it’s not the right choice for anyone dealing with heavy or frequent snow. ... show more

Came with broke part and customer service made it right. Pretty good machine for the price. Starts right up and works as it should.

    • Chute came loose within minutes and won’t track straight
I expected more for the price. Within a few minutes of using it, the discharge chute got loose and started moving on its own. The chute rotation lever/control barely works, so I couldn’t reliably aim where the snow was going. On top of that, the machine pulls to the left and won’t drive straight without constant effort.
