  • Easy to assemble and use!
Style: 1-stage Size: 21" w/(2) 5.0Ah Batteries, Steel Auger
It is so nice to use this the snow blower! No smell of gasoline and the batteries lasted a long time. This snowblower did well with ice and deep snow. It does catch on sidewalk cracks, but I think they all do. It is nice and light. Assembly was very easy. No tools other than what they include. I will be more likely to use this than the gas snowblower I had. It will be good for lighter snows as well. It would be easy to transport if you need to take it anywhere. It folds down easily. I have been chasing this model with the metal auger all winter. It came just in time for a pretty big snow today. It was worth the wait! ... show more

Style: 1-stage Size: 21" w/(2) 5.0Ah Batteries, Steel Auger
Amazon delivered this just in-time before the storm. Have been wanting one for a while but originally thought this model was too "small" for my needs. Purchased this model because it was the only one available. Proved it was worthly to earn a spot in the garage. Wish I had this 10 years ago. Used it first when there was about 4 inches down. Then did another pass 3 hours later. Used it again today for post-plow cleanup. The double 5.0 amp batteries gave enough runtime for me to do my own driveway and help neighbors. Both times there were two bars remaining on each battery. Tried the 5.0amp with the older 7.5 amp battery and that worked well and did not need to swap batteries. Pros: Works extremely well. Lightweight. It is accurate for 8-inches of snow. First time since high school that snow removal did not make me sore afterwards. The smaller size is actually a "pro" because can move it between cars easier. Easy to see remaining battery life using the two 5.0amp with the granular indicators. Cons: Really nit picking here, but opening the battery door lets snow and moisture in. The included double shotgun charger is a bit loud. ... show more

  • I live in maine:A small, quiet, powerful, snowblowing beast
Style: 1-stage Size: 21" w/(2) 5.0Ah Batteries, Steel Auger
This product is a remarkable leap forward in cordless electric snowblower. I had a snow Joe for some years because that’s what they sold at our local Lowe’s. It worked OK, but the batteries were always an issue. This ego snowblower is remarkable! It easily handles wet or dry snow here in Portland, Maine. I can tell that this would work fine in Bangor Maine as well, so I can’t say for sure how it would do in the county. It’s extremely light, extremely easy to move around: it’s nothing but pure snowblowing motor! It doesn’t throw snow any 40 feet, but easily throws it 15 or 20 feet and easily handled even wet snow and even hard snow plow snow at the end of the driveway. The batteries are at least twice as powerful and twice as large as the old snow Joe batteries. They click in easily. The charger is an impressive piece of technology. Highest recommendation. ... show more

  • First Impressions for an Eastern Massachusetts customer
Style: 1-stage Size: 21" w/(2) 5.0Ah Batteries, Steel Auger
Bought this several weeks ago and so far, so good. We had a small amount of very heavy, wet snow last week and although the battery drained faster than advertised, the unit performed admirably and was able to throw the 2 inches of slush a good distance. It is very lightweight, easy enough to fold up and transport in a car or truck. Being battery operated, the start time is instant. In terms of potential negatives: it is rated for 8 inches of snow which may not be enough for some. It is only 21 inches in width, so for very long, wide spaces, may not be quite enough and battery time will vary based on the texture of the snow to throw. Battery charge time may also be something to consider as mine have taken 75 minutes or so to fully recharge. It did clog intermittently, but not to detriment and certainly not based on the consistency of the snow. Bottom line, I live in eastern Massachusetts, with a 100 ft long driveway. Snow here is frequent but seemingly shrinking in size per storm. It appears that using the 80/20 rule, this will be a great purchase at a reasonable price. ... show more

  • Handles deep snow Handles deep snow
Style: 1-stage Size: 21" w/(2) 5.0Ah Batteries, Steel Auger
I purchased this blower February 2025 and then of course had very little snow though blower worked great with snow less than 6 inches. Today I used it on the big January 2026 storm, I think we had about 18-20 inches in my area. This blower was amazing. I completed the full cleaning on one charge. My driveway is about 50 feet but the snow was deep and the plow truck had pushed in a 3 foot berm. I took the berm very slowly but still the blower handled it. The chute can be adjusted to blow high so i cleared the snow build up on the side of the driveway. I also found that, unlike my previous electric snow blower, this one does not build up a lot of snow by the chute so its good to go even when the remaining snow inside does freeze up with cold temps (below 10 degrees). Some reviews have concerns with weight—I’m a 65+ woman and I can handle it. this one is a good one. ... show more

  • I am very disappointed with this piece of junk! I am very disappointed with this piece of junk!
Style: 1-stage Size: 21" w/(2) 5.0Ah Batteries, Steel Auger
I was shocked at how awful this snow blower works. I also made a huge mistake by purchasing it before needing it and now it is past the 30-day return window. I opened the box when it arrived the middle of November then charged the batteries and tested to make sure it would run when the time comes. Within about a week I noticed the batteries flashing green which seemed odd so I put them back in the charger and they had only 75% power left in them. Why did they lose 25% of there power just sitting for 1 week? So, I left the batteries in the charger until they where needed on the first snow of the year. At any rate January 5th it snowed for the first time about 3 inches. It was a very light snow that was easily blown around so I went to use the snow blower for the first time. That’s when the problems began. I pushed the start and pulled the handle and nothing happened. I tried several times and nothing. Eventually out of frustration I started rapidly pulling the handle while holding the button and it started. Every time I stopped and had to restart, I had to use the same procedure as it would never run on just one pull. Very annoying! Then the real aggravation came when it threw the snow only about 3 feet. It also would stop blowing and pilled the snow up in front of it. You can see all this in a video which is attached here. The next issue was how hard this is with a slopped driveway. My driveway has a 4’ drop in 35’ and one pass uphill was a real struggle and had me out of breath. Shoveling is far less tiering so I shoved the rest of the driveway. Needless to say, I am not at all happy with this purchase and sorry I didn’t wait to purchase so I could return it. ... show more

  • Works really well. Not going to say I’m not impressed.
Style: 1-stage Size: 21" w/(2) 5.0Ah Batteries, Steel Auger
To be fair, it’s the first big snow of the season with dry lightly packed snow. Picked up a clipper that dropped 6” in half a day. This thing powered right through and didn’t hesitate once. Did my 4 car drive with about 2/3 of the battery left and part of the street (picky mail delivery). About to do round 2 in the morning with another expected 4”. Pros: quick. Low power still has enough to move snow. High power will get you that 40’ snow shot. Didn’t feel that the less dense snow needed it. I didn’t run lights so I was fairly conservative on the battery draw. Cons: these are kind of nit picky. It comes with two 5ah batteries. It would be nice to have the 7.5’s at the same price point. At over $700, I feel that it should have a tad bit more to it. The battery compartment has a raised edge to help prevent moisture from getting inside. Maybe a gasket would help. I wiped off around the door to make sure nothing entered the electronics. It will catch in any raised surface, even a slight one, so go slow. Overall, I’m happy with it for a first time use. I didn’t have to wrench my back and shoulder trying to start my old craftsman thrower, so bonus there. Size comparison is about 1/3 larger than my 21” craftsman gas thrower (the one with the rubber blades). I would and plan to recommend as it’s about $300 less than the dewalt thrower and has better reviews. ... show more

  • The Ego line of products have worked out well for me. This snow blower is a must, SO EASY!
Style: 1-stage Size: 21" w/(2) 5.0Ah Batteries, Steel Auger
I just want to let people know this works great. My husband passed away, and the giant gas snowblower he used was crazy for me to use, and I found this. Easy to use, batteries work great. It was easy to assemble, and stores nicely in the summer when I pull out the Ego Mower, lol. The batteries are interchangeable so that's why you can buy some without the batteries or charger. This one handles 10 inches of snow just fine, anything more and I hire someone with a plow. ... show more
