Amazon delivered this just in-time before the storm. Have been wanting one for a while but originally thought this model was too "small" for my needs. Purchased this model because it was the only one available. Proved it was worthly to earn a spot in the garage. Wish I had this 10 years ago. Used it first when there was about 4 inches down. Then did another pass 3 hours later. Used it again today for post-plow cleanup. The double 5.0 amp batteries gave enough runtime for me to do my own driveway and help neighbors. Both times there were two bars remaining on each battery. Tried the 5.0amp with the older 7.5 amp battery and that worked well and did not need to swap batteries. Pros: Works extremely well. Lightweight. It is accurate for 8-inches of snow. First time since high school that snow removal did not make me sore afterwards. The smaller size is actually a "pro" because can move it between cars easier. Easy to see remaining battery life using the two 5.0amp with the granular indicators. Cons: Really nit picking here, but opening the battery door lets snow and moisture in. The included double shotgun charger is a bit loud. ... show more

I just want to let people know this works great. My husband passed away, and the giant gas snowblower he used was crazy for me to use, and I found this. Easy to use, batteries work great. It was easy to assemble, and stores nicely in the summer when I pull out the Ego Mower, lol. The batteries are interchangeable so that's why you can buy some without the batteries or charger. It is so nice to use this the snow blower! No smell of gasoline and the batteries lasted a long time. This snowblower did well with ice and deep snow. It does catch on sidewalk cracks, but I think they all do. It is nice and light. Assembly was very easy. No tools other than what they include. I will be more likely to use this than the gas snowblower I had. It will be good for lighter snows as well. It would be easy to transport if you need to take it anywhere. It folds down easily. I have been chasing this model with the metal auger all winter. It came just in time for a pretty big snow today. It was worth the wait! ... show more

Battery life is impressive. Easy to operate. No exhaust smell. Light weight. Does not self propel. You push it. Have not needed 3rd battery yet. You can direct chute left/right, but high or low you have to change at the chute. I like my big gas 2 stage, but I hate smelling like exhaust! This is more like a powered snow shovel, but it’s ok. The blade at the bottom is plastic. We will have to see how long that lasts. It does dig into the grass when off driveway, but you get used to holding it up a bit as you skim over the grass. Not horrible. I kind of want to check out some of the other models. But this does a good job for why it is. ... show more

I purchased this blower February 2025 and then of course had very little snow though blower worked great with snow less than 6 inches. Today I used it on the big January 2026 storm, I think we had about 18-20 inches in my area. This blower was amazing. I completed the full cleaning on one charge. My driveway is about 50 feet but the snow was deep and the plow truck had pushed in a 3 foot berm. I took the berm very slowly but still the blower handled it. The chute can be adjusted to blow high so i cleared the snow build up on the side of the driveway. I also found that, unlike my previous electric snow blower, this one does not build up a lot of snow by the chute so its good to go even when the remaining snow inside does freeze up with cold temps (below 10 degrees). Some reviews have concerns with weight—I’m a 65+ woman and I can handle it. this one is a good one. ... show more

Bought this and have put it through a few good uses so far this winter. Do NOT recommend. The bottom guard gets caught on every driveway groove and will stop the whole machine, they have bumpers on other ego snow blowers. Better if you run it at an angle and not with your driveway Snow will get stuck in the machine and push out the front even if you go slow and do quarter passes, this is even worse the wetter the snow is. Keeping the shoot aimed up can help but then it may blow back onto your driveway. Silicone wd40 spray can help Included batteries too small capacity, especially since you pretty much have to run this at full throttle because of how bad the snow throwing power is Take this off Amazon choice please ... show more

perhaps my second only review on amazon ever. but when something is good i wanna let people know about it. this is a great snowblower for your typical snowfall throughout most of the US. Works best when there’s about 6-10 inches of snow. 12 inches of higher and you may consider one of ego’s two stage models. but this thing is a beast. and it’s super quiet. finished my entire 100 foot driveway along with my adjacent sidewalk and both neighbors sidewalks all in about 17 min. definitely worth the investment. frees up time in your day and saves your back from shoveling. if it’s within your budget, you won’t be disappointed. super easy set up too. just about foolproof. go ahead and pick one up! ... show more
