At first this was a little confusing and complicated, but once you get the hang of it itās awesome to use! This is excellent for windows above the first floor that require dragging out cumbersome equipment like heavy extension ladders and buckets. Just be sure to read the instructions thoroughly BEFORE use! I highly recommend it and youāll be so happy you bought it! The fact that machines can a window better than human power and more efficiently is mind blowing

This is a really cool window cleaning robot! We are repeat users of Ecovacs robots. We have a T8 AIVI and have used it daily, for years. That's why we were really excited to try out the Winbot W2S Pro Omni. Not only is Ecovacs one of our favorite brands, our whole family loves trying out new tech! We have a large collection of drones, motion cameras, body cameras. If a new gadget or a new TV or a new phone or a camera hits the market, we are probably one of the first people eager to try it out. Winbot exceeded our expectations. How can a robot that looks pretty heavy clean, vertically, on the outside of the window? A task NO cleaner wants to do, and something you need to hire a specialist to perform? Ecovacs has made the technology accessible and easy to use - you wet the microcloth fiber, attach to the cleaning square via velcro, make sure the tank is full of cleaning solution, and attach the machine to the window. That is accomplished by holding the handle to the window and Winbot will let you know when it is securely attached. Opening up the box, presentation was amazing. The product comes in a monolithic rectangle that has a semi-cloth look to it, but is really quality plastic. Everything feels solid and secure. With the Pro Omni spec, you also get a solid base that serves as a power station, so that you do not need to clean windows by an outlet. It has an ingenious suction anchoring mechanism so that it serves as a safety attachment if you are washing windows at the higher floors. Once you put the handle on, it engages the suction and can easily hold the Winbot in the unlikely event it falls. The key is to download the Ecovacs app way before you start. That way, you can tell the Winbot how soiled your windows are. If need be, you can even manually control Winbot. The Ecovacs app is generally well polished by now...they've been going through multiple updates which have fixed bugs and improved the interface over the years. We've appreciated this continuing support and improvement since we've been long term Ecovacs power users. It can be a bit quirky, but once you figure out the Ecovacs app, we found it to be really great system with lots of options. Are there some drawbacks? Yes. It's not a pain free process, as obviously, if you have screens, you must remove those ahead of time. Will it clean as well as a human being? Depends. If you haven't washed your windows in a long time, and it's heavily soiled, I think a human being would do better. They've made great improvements in edge cleaning, but nothing beats a human hand pushing into dirty corners. You would have to go through quite a few microfiber cloths and cleaning solutions to achieve clean windows on neglected windows. If you've already maintained the exterior of your windows already, and you are tired of shelling out $$$ for a specialist to come out, Winbot will be your lifesaver. This makes cleaning, especially on higher floors, really easy. One safety note: If you are cleaning on higher floors, make sure you have a safe way to retrieve Winbot if it gets stuck. If the windows are not simply shaped, there is a possibility Winbot may get confused, and you may have to take it off the window and reset it. Not everyone needs this Winbot, obviously. I think a vacuum is really necessary inside, but why a Winbot? The ideal candidate is someone who has LOTS of windows, maybe someone who has a really nice view so their shades are always drawn open, and also, someone who's already maintained their exterior window with an occasional wash. I can also see this being a great business model for someone who runs a window cleaning business, particularly for multi-story commercial buildings. Overall, amazing system, we loved this Winbot! We would highly recommend it!

The WINBOT W2 PRO Omni is easily one of the most innovative and impressive pieces of tech they have released. Living in Utah with a property in Park City, we deal with large picture windows that face relentless dust, mountain pollen, water spots, and seasonal buildup. Cleaning massive, high-reach glass used to mean either spending hours balancing unsafely on high ladders or paying hundreds of dollars for professional window washers. This machine completely changes the game.The portable multi-functional Omni base station is a true first-of-its-kind feature that makes the whole unit ridiculously convenient. Unlike older or cheaper window cleaning models where you have to constantly climb up and refill a tiny onboard tank on the robot itself, this unit integrates the solution, power, and automatic cord management right into the portable feeder base. The heavy-duty built-in lithium battery delivers up to 110 minutes of continuous cleaning runtime on a single charge, meaning you can take it outside to high balconies, decks, or exterior glass walls without hunting for an extension cord or outdoor outlet. The suction power and overall mounting stability are incredible. The high-power vacuum motor creates an airtight seal that locks the robot firmly against the glass pane. The TruEdge intelligent pathing hugs right up against the window frames and bevels, while the wide-angle atomizing spray nozzles mist solution evenly across the glass to break down stubborn grime without leaving behind streaks or messy drips. It works systematically in overlapping Z and N patterns, leaving the glass completely crystal clear from corner to corner. While it won't physically hop across separate window dividers on its own, moving it from one window pane to the next takes only a matter of seconds. It is safe, rock-solid stable, saves an unbelievable amount of time and physical labor, and pays for itself after just a couple of full-house cleanings. Received a defective unit. The WINBOT does not spray cleaning solution at all, even after multiple resets and troubleshooting attempts. I also cannot complete the firmware update because it repeatedly fails with a āDownload Timed Outā error. Very disappointing for a brand-new, premium-priced product. I will be returning it.
