With the rise in skin cancers worldwide it is vitally important to keep your sun exposure to a minimum when working outside. This canopy is a more economical option than a trip to the Dermatologist. The canopy is very sturdy and assembly was somewhat challenging when bending the sides to attach the ribs, but the rest was simple. The ROPS bracket was two pieces, 4 bolts and done. The canopy slips in and locks into place quickly and you are done. This will make mowing on my Kubota Zero-Turn less hazardous to my skin health and keep me cooler. I am looking at getting one for the Kubota tractor. Good product!

As mentioned by other reviewers, the included paper instructions are not great, being very lacking on details with B/W pictures that make it very hard to identify what's going on, but the assembly video attached to this listing does a much better job of showing everything. Unlike other viewers I didn't find the assembly or installation onto the tractor to be all that difficult but it does help immensely to have a large work surface available at a height where you can use your forearms to help hold things in place while you insert bolts and thread on nuts. No third hand required. Installing the top onto the tractor wasn't bad, I suspect other reviewers complaining about the weight of the top when doing so may have made the mistake of assembling the entire unit off the tractor instead of installing the roll bar bracket directly onto the tractor first. The paper instructions have you do the latter, but the video instructions show everything being assembled off the tractor, I suspect because it was just more practical for them to do so in a studio. The weight of the assembled top on its own isn't that heavy and there are handles cut into the struts to make it easier to handle. For anyone needing to assemble one of these I recommend watching the video to get some initial understanding but then following the paper instructions with the following notes. Do step 3 before step 2, it's easier and means not having to redo step 1. On step 2 don't bother with the middle 2 bolts on each bow. Do step 10 before step 9, its easier this way and I don't know why they suggested otherwise. On step 9 first thread in the 4 bolts to the 2 struts all the way, use the lower holes. I took a star off for the poor instructions. I considered taking another star off because the ears on my struts were bent out of shape and needed straightening, this seemed to be a purely QA related issue as the shipping box was undamaged. Ultimately now that its assembled I'm pretty happy with it though so 4 stars seems more appropriate. I only just got this installed so I can't speak to the longevity of the product but functionally I'm happy with it. The height and size of the top are just about perfect on my compact tractor. If anything changes I'll update my review.

I bought this canopy for a Kubota L4600 tractor. The canopy was well-packaged, easy to assemble, and all needed hardware was included. I upgraded the bolting on the canopy to 316 stainless steel that I had on-hand, to avoid potential rust stains that might eventually occur from the included cadmium plated fasteners. The ROPS cage mount is sturdy and well-designed, and clamps tightly to the ROPS. One pin that is intended to receive a cotter pin was not drilled for the cotter pin, and I had to use my drill press. I am very pleased with the canopy.

First of all please save yourself the time and frustration assembling this thing. The other reviewers are spot on, the instructions are terrible and the amount of time and effort it takes makes you question your sanity. Then to add insult to what we just found to be literal injury, it’s defective and dangerous. Another reviewer mentioned the right bracket breaking and the canopy ending up in his lap, well today my husband had a similar incident expect it ended up on his head. The right bracket snagged in two while he was mowing and the entire thing came down on top of his head. Thank goodness he was in our front yard, in the middle, and was able to stop. There is clearly a design flaw with this product and it’s a safety hazard. The metal is not strong enough to hold the canopy, especially on the right side apparently. We have only used the product 4 or 5 times, it is brand new and garage kept. It is absolutely gorgeous out today with zero wind. There is no reason for this failure other than design and poor materials. I requested a full refund for this waste of our time and money, so please do yourself a favor and pass on this product.

This purchase/ product was for a TC30 New Holland tractor and it fits to the tractor well. It is great value for the money and that's where the good ends. As the majority of the comments said this product is very difficult to assemble. You really need two people to do it unless you are an octopus. The assembly instructions are ROUGH! I can not stress that fact enough. The photos are black and white and confusing, the written instruction does not clarify what the photos show. I ended up chucking them and using photos from the website in order to assemble it. ALL of the hardware is in a single bag and none of it is labeled. I ended up having to go to the hardware store and purchasing some lock nuts that were not in package provided. Assembly and installation took nearly 3 hours with the majority of that being the assembly process. I have it installed, it looks great and does what it is supposed to do however if you have difficulty translating a photo into what you are building or have no building skills you may wish to purchase a different product. I have one final step to finish the process and that is to install the rubber gasket as I need to split the it fist as it didn't come pre-cut for installation. Actual installation will require two people again, unless you're an octopus.
