  • Question
Size: 12v 120w Well Pump
I ha e a problem with this pump will run for few mins very strong pump. However 3 to 4 mins of run time in water that is 50 to 52 degrees Fahrenheit pump shuts off for no apparent reason. I have contacted ted the seller about this problem they were worthless as far as help. I beleive that the thermal switch is faulty or wrong one installed. Seller didnt offer to exchange pump. All they want was pi true of the battery. I can tell u the battery is new with 20 amp solar charger and 350 watt solar panel . Panel can provide 12 to 15 amps of power to the battery. Voltage when pump is running never drops below 12.2 volts . I will be disassembling the pump myself. I will update when I find the problem. Update after disassembling the pump found thermal switch. Must have been sumthg wrong with thermal switch or wrong one put in. The way I found this was I put thermal switch under hair dryer. And thermal switch goes open at 90 farenheit. With no documentation I could fi d what the thermal switch was supposed to be rated for. Took wild guess and got thermal switch for it rated for 300 Fahrenheit. Pump work great. ... show more

  • Good while it works
Size: 24v 96w Well Pump
I'm on the third pump. Motor housing fills with water, might last if the seals were improved. Edit: 5 Stars to the seller. They contacted me and replaced the last pump purchased. I have one that has lasted several years and the other two had very short lives. If the manufacturer corrects the water intrusion to the motor compartment the pump is definitely 5 stars. This pump is perfect for remote low flow wells that need to run from solar panels. ... show more

  • Wire sucks.....But the pump works well.
Size: 24v 250w Well Pump
Direct connected to 36v panel to pump water. Works well. Body is stainless and seems to be a good material. Screws on the body are plain and rusting quickly. Wire seems copper but has corrosion problems and is very thin and of poor quality but works. Just shy of a home run in terms of quality.

  • Using this for my 62 foot well. Pumping 1000 feet away!
Size: 12v 120w Well Pump
The media could not be loaded. I found a 100 year old well on my property and figured my wife could use it to water her garden. The only problem is the garden is around 600 feet from the well. I ended up measuring the well (62' deep) and water level (25' down). I dropped the pump down to about 7' below bottom. I used a 240W 36V solar panel, a cheap Mppt controller off Amazon, and a 12V deep cycle battery from walmart. The well will only produce 30 gallons of water at a time (maybe 2 or 3 times per day) but I pump this through 1000' of 1/2" poly pipe (I have not cut the pipe to length yet) to a plastic 1000 liter IBC. My wife uses around 50 gallons a day. I am getting around 1.75 gal/minute into my tote which is enough for me. I was using 16Ga wire for power at one time and found that going to 12 GA wire made it pump faster and increased the amps. My wire is around 80' long. I pump it manually now (drive the golf cart out to the well and sit there listening to music for the 18 minutes it usually takes to pump the well dry) but will add a 12V timer to the system soon. The video is from my initial test using the 16GA wire (an old extension cord). I've upgraded the power supply now (that was just a test) and that is about the flow I see 1000 feet out. Don't worry, the water is nice and clear at this point. ... show more

  • I thought this pump was a real WINNER, until it corroded one week later and quit working.
Size: 24v 250w Well Pump
In my opinion, here is all of what I think--Received on May 26, 2021. I put it into my pool on Memorial Day, May 31. Less than a week later and this "stainless steel" pump is all corroded and stopped working by June 4. What initially was plated, I guess, and looked like stainless steel, but looks like corroded copper. I used it vertically in my swimming pool to pump water to my solar heater collectors on my rooftop. It worked beautifully for the first few days, then it lost its pretty stainless steel finish and looked like corroded copper, yet kept working. Now, all the water inlets are corroded and dripping with rust too. It worked yesterday, but not today. In such a short time, this corrosion resistant pump went bad and no longer works. It still pulls current from my solar panel, but no longer pumps water and does not even oscillate like it did when it was working. The Ph of my pool is 6.8 which is nearly neutral--just slightly acidic. When we swim, it does not hurt our eyes. How can this have caused such damage in such a short time if this is supposed to be stainless steel? I bought it because the ad made it sound corrosion resistant, and I already had a solar panel to run it. I thought it would last for years and save my energy bill. The "good price" was simply too much money for only a week of service. And I thought the ad was deceptive when it said, "Stainless Steel." I have seen stainless steel prevent corrosion before, but this is not the quality I was led to believe it was. Now, the corrosion from it has stained my pool interior. What are the next steps to resolve this issue, I ask myself. Sometimes a good deal should be declined in favor of a better value. ... show more

  • Very powerful for the money, but not a long lasting pump
Size: 12v 96w Well Pump
Not a bad pump for the money. I've owned three of these now, and they can pump from very deep depths or across long distances. But even if you just have them pump 10ft up and 20ft downhill, they always die after about 2 years. The internal seals go bad or something like that.

  • Pump not dependable, no product support
Size: 12v 120w Well Pump
With 2 100 watt solar panels, 30 watt controller and new 1000 ah agm battery thus pump drains the battery to a low voltage state unexpectedly over and over after 5 months only running 2 hours per day. 90ft depth well. Will be pulling it out and finding a better pump. Do not recommend this pump if you rely on a automatic watering system to keep a tank full. Poor quality. ... show more
