I paired the unit with a 100 watt Renogy Panel and a small EBL Solar Generator and a Gaveenon Instant Propane Water heater and a 12 volt cigarette lighter style extension cord and ran the water line to an adjacent IBC tote to create a shower in the porch. All items except the water tote were purchased on Amazon. Adjacent to it, I put a portable washing machine, also bought on Amazon. The pump is on demand and works strongly to provide for all of my needs. This is my second unit because the first was outdoors and the wiring sheath is made with a soy based plastic that desert rats eat. When I went to replace the wires on the first one, I did NOT realize the unot jad internal spring loaded brushes. I thought it was brushless. So...when I removed the housing, the springs shot off into the sunset across the Sonoran Desert Wilderness! It was morw cost effective to replace it than sourcing springs...a good and solid unit!

Purchased a pump a year prior from a different vendor, and it never shut off when the lines were primed. I messed with fixtures, lines, a test bucket of water with a good attached hose... and that thing would run non stop until turned off at the switch. Turned the allen screw, tightened fittings, etc. It just ran non stop. This pump? As soon as I swapped the old and turned it on... it ran for about 3 seconds and stopped. I ran a faucet, it turned on. I closed a faucet, it turned off. I left it on for a few hours... and it never cycled on until I opened a line... just like it is supposed to. No longevity I can really speak to as I have only had it installed for a weekend trip, but very happy with this one so far. No complaints, at all.

Bought because of the affordable price. Lasted less than a month. I'll be buying a better quality pump to replace this cheap hunk of crap. This company has contacted me and has offered to send a new pump with upgraded pressure switch if I pay for shipping. I informed them I considered that to be VERY poor customer service. Quality companies ship a new pump with a PREPAID return label for the old pump. I'll wait a few days and see how they respond. As of now, I stand by my bad review of this worthless pump. Update......they sent a replacement pump, free and did not want me to return the old pump. I installed the new pump and it worked properly for the 2 days I was at the campsite. As soon as I'm able to go and stay for a longer period of time I will give another update, For now the pump is working properly and the company does stand behind their product. I raised my rating to 4 stars for the good customer service provided by them.

Updated: The second one, a replacement for the 1st I just got in July just died - 2 months in. Normally I buy Shurflo pumps but took a chance on this one. I wasn't able to install it until August of last year but SURPRISE here we are 1 year later and the thing just up and died. Nothing in the system was changed during this time. Same batteries, same charger, never moved or touched it, on its own circuit, installed in a dry bilge compartment. Sadly cant find any troubleshooting guides for this unit. I can't recommend this to anyone in the Auxiliary or Yacht club. Pumps aren't rocket science and shouldn't be treated like disposable paperweight junk. Last Sureflo I had lasted almost 12 years and even then it still worked probably just needs a new pressure switch cause it won't turn off on its own. Since Amazon is issuing a refund I'm just replacing it - I'm willing to give it a second chance - we'll see how it goes.

I went through 3 other pumps and finally landed with this one. It is amazingly quiet. All I did was hook this up with my existing hoses and power and it worked right out of the gate. I was amazed at how quiet is is and powerful. I am using the default settings for GMP and it works for me. I have this hooked up to a 5 gallon water jug, that I put in fruit punch mix and I am now utilizing my keg fridge. So no more beer, just fruit punch. And this pump pushes out at a perfect speed and pressure. I love this and as for longevity, we shall see. |So far its been 3 months and going strong.
