Well, being 72 and new to fixing my own well: this bundle of quality components all in one purchase was a blessing! The T-stem’s design is unique in that there is a built-in connection where the T is located. This allows the installer to make adjustments once all the system in put together: pressure tank, gauges and pressure switch can be installed before hand then added to the other part of the stem already attached to the pressure tank. One last praise. My well’s 12 year old PVC fittings are slightly brittle. I can’t force anything to “fit” so being able to move the pressure tank to line up with the manifold after I’m lying down and praying that I get ‘er done before dark was heaven inspired! The tank tee installation kit worked very well and is very well made. Had no problems with installing the kit and the Square D pressure switch needed no adjustments and everything has been performing without issue since the day I installed it.

Great products! Great quality! All brass! Great package price! Could of been packaged a little better. The only thing I was not happy with was their was some kind clear sticky goop between the brass union fittings and had to soak it for days in soapy water to remove it, cause I didn't want that in my drinking water or pipes. Nice customer service that allowed me to pick pressure relief valve that I wanted and received response within 24 hours. Received parts within a couple of days. ... show more

    • Great value, but toss the teflon...

Maybe I've been spoiled by the $3+ roll of THICK yellow teflon at Lowes, because this white stuff that was included with the kit was super thin and each fitting that I used it on leaked. The teflon started to bead water at the overlaps. I've worked with tape like this for decades, so it wasn't an installation issue. In any case, the supplied gauge reads 10PSI when at atmosphere, so there's that. But, since it's at the floor, and I have several other more-accurate gauges at eye-level, I'm not going to ding the listing for that. The pressure switch is set to 50/30. It would appear this is identical to the 60/40, with the only difference being how much tension has been applied to the set bolt (#1) at the factory. Thus, if you order the 50/30 but really need the 60/40 (that was the case with me, but the 60/40 had a longer lead-time), then fear not... you can easily turn the set nut counter-clockwise about 10 turns to drive the set points up to 60/40. Just make sure you adjust the pre-charge on your tank to match the new cut-in pressure (38psi when empty of water). The union coupling is really stellar. Hand tight, and no leaks. Well built n easy to install. Has everything you need to install. Just side note: lost power for 3 days and it frozen, when power came back on and thawed out. No cracks or brakes. Hold up every well. Even though other pipes broke.
