- [Built-in Check Valve] The pump's default temperature settings are 38C off and 33C on. When the water temperature in the pump drops below 33C (91.4F), it pushes the cold water back to the water heater. As the temperature hits 38C (100.4F), the pump will automatically shut off. The remote controller, which is used to set higher or lower water temperatures (from 32C to 42C), is not included and needs to be purchased separately.
- [Temperature Sensors] The pump has two advanced built-in high-accuracy temperature sensors: one to measure the pipe water temperature and the other to measure the pump's ambient air temperature. There are several versions of this pump available under this single listing. I decided against the digital version based one price. The digital pump is basically the same except you can adjust the temperature settings without buying the remote. The water flow version seemed convenient initially, but I didn't like how there was a bridge from the hot to cold water. The kit includes a check valve, but some of the other reviews indicated that the check valve was not very efficient. All that said, I decided on getting the standard version with 12" braided hoses. I installed it according to the instructions with the brass tees on either end of the pump and had a lot of trouble getting the hoses to reach and sit well under my sink. I was also getting a lot of noise transference into the vanity and wall due to the wall mounting. In the third amazon product photo, it showed the brass tees installed on the shut-off valves. This made much more sense to me as the pump would now only have 2 hoses connected to it. This setup is basically the same. You just have a longer connection between the tee and the pump rather than between the tee and the shut-off valves. My installation is in my attached photos. I attached some dense foam furniture pads under the pump to reduce vibration transference and glued some sound absorbing foam to the walls for good measure. The sound was reduced significantly and hot water circulates great. The pump is quite quiet and the main noise is water running through the pipes. The provided braided hoses come have one 1/2" x 3/8" end. Initially it leaked like crazy until I realized that both the 3/8" and the 1/2" nuts needed to be tightened down. For my setup, I connected the power to a smart outlet and just have the outlet turn on and off based on a motion activated switch. Overall, the pump works great, costs much less than other options and my wife now doesn't complain about the lack of hot water.

First off, I would absolutely recommend this product. It works as advertised, and most importantly, the customer support is exceptional. I did, however, have an issue with this at first, which as a result, caused me to give this positive review. Read on... I first installed the pump with all the original provided parts. Pretty straight forward. I did have to purchase longer water hoses, as the ones included were not long enough, in my case, (only 1 foot). The brass Ts that were included with the pump, (see photo), leaked out the base of the screw-on nut. Used Teflon plumber’s tape and the provided washers. No matter what I did, I could not get them to seal. I wound up having to purchase different style Ts/nipples, locally. Once installed, no more leaking, (see photo). I notified the seller, and voluntarily provided receipts and a photo. They were apologetic, and immediately reimbursed me for the additional parts with absolutely no argument. In closing, the pump works great! It's quiet. Hot water in seconds now, rather than 2 to 3 minutes, as before. Most of all, this company was exceptional to deal with and I would recommend them to others. ************************************************************** Regarding the optional remote: I like the optional remote control for the pump. Of the 3 modes, " SMART MODE" (orange), "ENERGY SAVING" (green), and "MANUAL" (no light at all), I actually like "MANUAL" the best. Here's why: It seems with other 2 choices, because the water temp is maxed out automatically by the pump at 42 degrees C, (107.6 F), when it is on “SMART MODE”, or “ENERGY SAVING”, it's never gets quite as hot as I'd like it to. The warm water is right at the faucet, and on-demand, but the hot temp is limited, by design. When the pump is set to "MANUAL", it delivers the water at a hotter temp (the max temp setting on my water heater is hotter). I keep the remote on the wall by the sink, and just press it when I want hot water. It delivers within 20-30 seconds, and definitely hotter than I'd felt on the other settings. I wish I had bought this 20+ years ago. I can't imagine how many gallons of water I've wasted/paid for over the years waiting for it to warm up! Great product. Great company!
