Light weight - good power - easy starts-great saw

I have had many chainsaws over the years. I had an Echo some years ago that was a work hoarse. It finally needed a new carburetor and it was not worth the expense. I picked up a cheap Big Box store chainsaw that works just ok. It stops working for no apparent reason and my work comes to a holt. Recently I've needed to do a lot of cutting due to down trees from relentless storms here in California. so I bought this Echo saw. There is a reason why it is so light weight. Everything is plastic. It did start very easily and cut well. I am concerned how long it will last due to its plastic construction. It also has clips to hold the air filter cover in place. They appear flimsy and may be problematic in the future. I will need to be very careful to not drop this saw or have it fall off my truck since it would easily crack the plastic housing.

Starts easy, it is lightweight and cuts perfectly well. It was shipped from a third party store and it arrived way ahead of schedule. Will definitely buy from Jacks Small Engine again

I own about fifteen or so chainsaws. I use them very often for my work. I ran one of these for several months without issues. Then it wouldn't start anymore. I know how to maintain and take care of a saw well. All my Husqvarna and Stihl saws have worked flawlessly for years with regular maintenance. I liked how lightweight the 3510 was so I ordered another one and it stopped working within the first week of use. I wasted enough time trying to get these going again that I finally ended up selling them for a fraction of what I paid for them. At least the first one I got a little use out of. Not even a year but better than the one week of use I got out of the second one I ordered. These saws feel very light and cheap. The plastic seems thinner and cheaper than on other saws. Feels more like a toy than a tool. Another thing about it is just about every time you open the gas cap gas spatters out at you. Just because of my experience with this particular saw I will not buy anything from Echo again. With what I spent on these two saws I could have bought one good Husqvarna that I would still be using.

I bought two at the same time. One for my son and one for me. His runs very well and gets the jobs done. Mine had low power from the beginning and now has not enough to turn the chain with nothing to cut. Yes, I know how to maintain and service a chain saw. Been using them for 50+yrs. If mine ran like my son’s I’d give it 5 Stars.

The ECHO chain saw , was delivered in excellent shape Owners manual helped a great deal, that along with the bar chain, and sheath for the bar Thank you PS-could not ask for the performance to be any better it cuts thru tree limbs, ie like butter Thank you again
