Great trimmer handled high grass and weeds, with no problem. Battery life more than ample for big or small yards. Best of all no gas or oil to mix and no carb to clog up if left to set awhile with out using.

love it but if you are on the small are side it may be harder to use. Especially when edging. The bump head it the best on the market. Speed feed is easier if hands are bigger. The Handel could be stronger.

    • 5-year warranty for battery will not apply...
I am not happy or unhappy with the trimmer itself. I am very unhappy that the manufacturer's 5-year warranty does not apply to the trimmer or battery because I bought these through Amazon. The battery stopped charging after a dozen or so uses. When I contacted Echo customer service, I was informed that the warranty only applies if the product is purchased through an Echo-authorized dealer. Amazon and the third-party seller using the Amazon storefront are not authorized dealers for Echo products. I contacted DBB Prime Solutions (the third-party seller) who explained that the 1-year warranty they provide had expired. I contacted Amazon support who let me know that I should have checked the warranty information through the manufacturer's website prior to purchasing the product. ... show more

    • Defective battery out of the box
Echo claims they DO NOT warranty this trimmer because it was purchased from an on-line vender. I have to return the entire trimmer (if the vender accepts the return) to get this taken care of. Very disappointed with Echo. Trimmer has not been used, defective battery out of the box.

Excellent finished my whole yard before battery died absolutely love this product so glad I bought even though at first i was skeptical. This is a MUST BUY you won’t be sorry
