I purchased this rower a few months ago. I'm 6'2", 225 lbs. I can fully extend my legs without any issues. I read a lot of reviews about other rowers and decided to purchase this one. I like the sound of the water while rowing, it's pretty quiet and easy going. The rower comes in 1 box and it comes with water salts to keep the water from going bad and there is also a pump included to remove the water should you need to. I had to start with only 5 minute workouts but I'm now up to 20 minutes and I try to use it daily. The machine is well constructed, the seat moves smoothly when in use and so far the cord and pedals have been fine. I highly recommend this product.     • Great option for a lot less money
Very sturdy and smooth operation. It will pair with a Fire 8" tablet (had an extra). If you side load KinoMap, you can use all the features by telling it this machine is a similar (same) machine as the Mer*** R06 rower. If you look, they both have the same exact control knob. With this app, you can setup or use an existing workout session with varying resistance - and when training, it will adjust the magnetic resistance based upon the intervals in the workout session. There are probably other apps with similar features that will work with this rower. I tried a few and ended up with KinoMap. I do plan to go to a larger screen. I bought this as a Christmas present for my daughter, (lives out of state). I assembled it for her a couple weeks ago and she used it for the first time about a week later. The digital tracker powered up, but none of the controls worked, (not able to set resistance mode), and it would track time, distance, etc. The tracker would turn off after a few minutes. I've used this machine each morning. Easy to work and set up. I was worried about the noise with the water and I find it not as loud as I expected. The app that it comes with is a little on the difficult side to figure out and I have had a hard time getting it to track my progress. Other than that I have enjoyed the rower. ... show more

The rower is great. Careful not to let handle go free or you may have to reseat the strap back on pulleys. If your device is not registering miles or strokes your magnet reader is probably just out of position. It has a two pronged sensor on port side of lower wheel. Just reposition it (turn sensor) as close to the wheel with the magnet as possible and check for changing reading. The model I got had bluetooth which can connect to some other apps in theory but not all. I wanted to get it to show the water apps on the big TV. So, if you have an iPhone look at the pictures above. Swipe down from the upper right corner to bring up control screen then click on screen mirroring shown with blue marker. If your Roku or other stream capable device shows up click on it. and WHAM giant water rowing via screen mirroring your app of choice. You need both iphone and smart TV/ Roku to be on the same network and on. You may have to play around with the app to connect the blue tooth to your rower to get data. As for the rower. It is heavy duty and very functional. The rubber stopper that stops rear movement at max broke off from my kid sliding around on it. But it just hits metal seat to metal bar now if you go to far. I will put a pad there or something. You shouldn't be going that far back rowing anyway. Make sure you put the included crystals in the water or something else so you don't grow slime.     • Digital dial wont hold resistance for more than 1 minute before it resets, waiting for their support
Ordered end of Oct. 2023 as a Christmas gift. Had an immediate issue right out of the box with the friction pad installed too far to create resistance. I took the main unit apart and adjusted it per their instructions. Now, the digital resistance dial resets after 1 minute and goes back to level 1. Which means this thing offers no resistance and is basically useless. I've emailed the same tech support from the first issue and still no response. Going on week #2 and second email to their tech support..... Update…. Finally heard back from support. Was sent another video on how to adjust the sensor. They also had to send a video after unboxing due to internals needing additional adjustment as well. Raised it to 3 stars after getting support to reach back out ... show more

Affordable rower and easy to assemble. I bought this on black Friday and got it for a really good price. I was looking for an affordable rower, something that I can use a couple time a week and this one has been great. I'm on it 30 minutes 2-3 times a week and it gets the job done.
