I did plenty of searching on bike racks and I am extremely satisfied that I found this bike rack! It was assembled and ready to use straight out of the box. Not too heavy to handle by myself, easy to move around. Incredibly functional. Fit my wife’s Bronco (with a 12” hitch extender) and I did not need the ramps, however, I do need them with my truck. We traveled about a total of 12 hours and it worked like a champ! I did add a ratchet strap and connected it to the hitch for extra security because it was the first time using the rack and I will continue to do so on longer trips but when only going around town, I am not worried because the rack is solid!

Great rack, solid and well built. It came already assembled and just had to hook up to my hitch. I was a little nervous buying any rack because of so many negative reviews on different manufacturers but this one was perfect and works just as described.

Hyperax recalled my RV e-bike rack which I had used about three years. Looking for replacement rack that could handle two e-bikes was tough. The lower cost ones looked rickety and had many poor reviews. The $800+ Thule's and Yakima's is out of my price range and still had plenty of poor reviews. I needed a rack and the Iron Deer seemed to have the best design to do a tough job and still be affordable. The box arrived in good condition, and it contained all of the parts. Assembly was basically unpacking the box and reading the instructions. When folded up it is very easy to roll around and pick up with its carrying handle, despite its weight. It shouldn't be a problem for most people to pick up and fit into their trailer hitch. The ramp really helps in loading a heavy ebike onto the rack. It takes a little kentucky windage to get the frame clamps properly positioned for your particular bikes, especially for the outside one, but not a big deal. The rack fold down to open my pickup tailgate kept the bikes solidly in place and the bikes in the rack were easy to lower and raise and my RAM 1500 was able to open all the way down. Mounted two bikes and test drove them on bumpy paved two lane, over a raised RR crossing, and on I-94 up to 80mph. 60-70 miles all told. Hold was solid with minimal jostling. No scratches on the bikes due to rubbing the other bike or the rack or my tailgate. My eMTN bikes have about a 50in. wheelbase. As advertised 50 inches is the max you can get on this rack, so I got lucky there. Although I don't think they recommend using this rack mounted to a camping trailer, I think I will be comfortable using this rack on my trailer because my RV has a real frame mounted receiver. I can't give five stars to a product like this until it lasts two years and I have encounters with customer service, which I have not needed. I suspect (but don't know) Iron Deer is like any other Amazon seller without a phone number and works only via email - hit and miss. Final word so far, 4.5/5 or 9/10.

As advertised. Great rack. Took Mokwheel all the way to Florida from Michigan. Absolutely no problem. Everything was secure and easy. Only, literally only, disappointment is that the ramp is completely separate. There is no means to connect it to the rack when not in use.

It actually was fully assembled except straps. Wheels to move rack to storage were very helpful. Came with everything needed: hitch lock, bike locks and tightening tool. We practiced putting rack on and off car successfully with the utube app. The picture directions that came with bike were useless for me. It is rather heavy and I ( 71 yr old petite woman) needed assistance to lift and slide into hitch. So far very happy with this purchase. Going to take bikes on trip today : you can assume all went well if I don't add an addendum.
