The overall quality of of construction and materials used to construct the unit is really good. The remote control buttons feel normal when pressed. The remote responds instantly when navigating through the various menus. The menu is setup just like an Android or Google tv menu, which is great. The settings menu give you full access and control over all the administrative settings. I tested the unit by playing several 4k and 8k movies. The unit plays a 4k movie well with a HDMI cable. You will have to use a fiber optic cable to play an 8k but it played well. I am using the box to steam Netflix and other streaming services with no buffering or lag. If you're going to use it over Wi-Fi don't even bother. It would be the equivalent of getting a half a bar reception from only 15 ft away from your router. It did nothing but pause and sputter even though it had a direct line to my router from 15 feet or less. I'm returning it immediately. I've been told that if you use an ethernet cord it works better but I don't want to run an ethernet cord across my house. ... show more

    • Almost an Nvidia Shield. Well worth $50.00.
This is a well made Android streamer. It is clearly intended to be an Nvidia Shield copy right down to the edge lit polygon case and it almost succeeds. It has more memory, a faster chip set, optical audio out, IR instead of RF remote and it responds to most of the IR code set as the standard Android box does including numeric entry. It handles most apps well. It is very plug and play and the menu system is clearly taken straight from Nvidia. That being said some apps just don't work like Fubo, but no problems with Downloader, Surf Shark or Tivi Mate so it's good to go for most streaming applications. It did crash several times with Eaglecast, but no problems with PulseTV Live or 4kcc. I would give it 4 1/2 stars but that isn't an option. Not perfect. Great value. ... show more
