We purchased this East Oak Pyramid Patio Heater in December of 2023. When the box arrived, we were so excited to open and assemble it. This heater is absolutely beautiful! It looks like we spent a million dollars on it. The quality is amazing, and assembly was easy. Unfortunately, a strong gust of wind blew it over and shattered the quartz glass before we were able to enjoy it. The wind was really strong to blow this heater over because it is nice and heavy. The quartz glass is made of high quality too. I reached out to customer service via email and explained the situation. "Mia" responded with empathy and came through like a champ! She immediately offered to replace the quartz glass and mail it to us free of charge! Unbeknownst to me, my husband had already ordered and paid for a replacement quartz glass via the website. I informed "Mia," and she issued a refund immediately! I highly recommend this product and East Oak customer service.

I will start by saying that the packaging was awesome. The assembly was easy with the directions. It is a very nice looking heater. Sadly, it does not heat as advertised. The flame that's supposed to go to the top does not come close. With a brand new tank it maybe gets 5/8 up. As the tank gets lower so does the flame. What a giant wast of money and time. Don't wast your money, look elsewhere UPDATE 03/13/2025 All I can say is WOW! You rarely see customer service like this anymore. They sent me a 55,000 BTU patio heater as I was disappointed with heat output on the original unit. I haven't put it together or used this yet and will review it when I do but this was over and above anything I would have expected. I will now recommend this seller for anyone will to try them out. Thank you so much.

This heater was delivered to us and was quite easy to assemble. After enjoying this heater for approximately 6 months the Heater Glass Tube shattered. I attempted to order a replacement glass tube but it was unavailable. After a couple interactions with customer support, I received an unsolicited email stating that they apologize for the inconvenience and sent me the replacement part at no charge, along with a tracking number. The tube showed up within a couple days and we have been enjoying the heater. Thanks so much.

Very nicely constructed heater. Be advised it is Less heat output than the 'hi-hat' types but far more visually appealing. If you really need the max heat vs. a nice rounded experience and conversation piece than pass. Embossed design on the flat panels give it the appearance of ghost flames so nicer than others with plain flat panels. Glass tube is larger diameter than previous models and makes the flames even nicer. Takes about an hour to assemble which includes looking at the directions. Be sure to at least read the first few pages of the instructions as the first parts of the frame can be assembled upside down if not careful. If you see similar units at outdoor bars or decks this is much nicer as those are likely the smaller diameter tubes. If you need to relocate the heater, I suggest taking the propane tank out first. Very happy with it.

We have this heater alongside a patio furniture setting. The heater puts off a great warm inviting light, which provides a nice setting with the firepit. We also have one of those traditional style patio heaters with the large round silver top. Side by side, the traditional one puts off a way better comforting heat when sitting around in the furniture or standing nearby. This one, you can stay warm if you stand right next to it but otherwise the heat output is minimal, did i mention it looks wonderful though. It was ok to assemble, not the hardest but not easy either. If you want warmth, buy the traditional style heater, if you want to add some nice ambiance and light to your setting, then this is the heater you'd want. It seems like it will be a great one to keep out all year, cool summer nights coming out of the pool, this will be nice to take the chill off and it will provide great mood lighting for night time swims. The restaurant patios have these for a reason, they look cool, and cool looking things can outwiegh the performance sometimes. This is the case with this heater.

I would have given this heater a 5 start review. It went together very easily (as long as you follow the instructions of course) and started right up after I leak tested it. Now the reason I am not rating this 5 stars is color. The main reason we bought this one is the photo's appear to show a white set of bases. My wife is quite sensitive to color, being an artist, and really for sure did not want black and was not really happy with all the other shiny silver/stainless steal ones on amazon. Low and behold we see this picture and think wow white... buy it!! Of course after I get it assembled (the last steps are to put on the bottom panels) I find it is silver. Looking very closely at the pictures I can see it was in a room being photo'ed with a bright white back-drop so it looked white :-( It is lovely with the rippled sides and we will test it out the next few weeks here in Florida, but I am quite disappointed that I was fooled into thinking I had snagged a white heater ... we probably would have bought this one anyway from all the choices, I just would have liked to know that it *was not* white!!
