I purchased the East Oak heater for my backyard for family and friend events. The assembly was extremely simple when following the directions. I was able to fire up the heater with no problems and love it! Unfortunately, on my third use I could not get the burner to light no matter what I tried (even swapped out the tank). I contacted their customer service and after walking me through some trouble shooting steps (they even emailed me a video) it was determined that the burner assembly was faulty. East Oak mailed out a replacement burner assembly, I replaced it with mine and voila - I had my heater back on line! Customer service is an important part of the purchase process and it is so often lacking today, East Oak proved to be a beacon from the past and delivered on customer service when it counted! ... show more

Quick delivery, on time as promised. Heater was well packed. Easy to unpack and easy to follow assembly instructions. This may not be the sturdiest product on the market, but descent enough. Individual parts are a bit flimsy, but as was being put together, it was becoming more and more solid. It does not produce as much heat as my other mushroom style heater but it's more attractive. We were looking for a patio heater to keep us toasty while entertaining in our backyard as the weather cools. I was struck by the design of this pyramid model. It is one of the nicest-looking outdoor heaters that I have seen. In person, it’s just as striking as the listing. We have the champagne version of this heater, which works with our outdoor décor, but I did note you have several options based on whatever you may be looking for. Assembly was easy enough, but it took some time. Once built, it’s easy enough to maneuver. It features wheels so that you can roll it around. It’s too big to fit in a shed for storage, so will have to be kept in our garage. The weatherproofing looks like it will hold up in California, though it’s not recommended for use in the rain. Rust is not something that I am looking for, and we might invest in a cover. Happy to report that it heats up our outdoor spaces quickly. And is at home in our backyard. ... show more

Ordered this product and put it together then got to the panels which are covered in protective film and they are silver not white even though the box says white. Tried multiple times through Amazon to ask for the right panels and never got any answer from manufacturer so I’d have to take it all apart and return and hope the next one was actually white. I would NOT purchase this product again or buy a product from this seller/ manufacturer. My worst purchase ever on Amazon! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I searched all over for a glass tube replacement for my East Oak Pyramid heater. DO NOT buy the 4" tubes that you see all over Amazon. They WILL NOT fit your East Oak Pyramid heater. Go straight to the source and order from East Oak. The customer service was pleasant, and they stayed in touch throughout the shipping process. This items stands tall and looks great on the patio. Furthermore, the unit looks very attractive when lit up at night and produces considerable amounts of light ambiance to your scene. The heat though… you better stand right next to it, almost touching, to feel it. I would consider this unit to be more of a decorative piece than functional area heater. I’m not mad at that fact at all though, I love the looks but I will need to look into other products for actually keeping guests warm. ... show more
