Very pleased with this 4000w heater. I installed it myself under the vinyl soffit, which wasn’t too difficult (watched a YouTube video for help). I then hired an electrician to run the wiring (charged ~$700 to run the 240v volt to a 20 amp breaker). We have it mounted above our outdoor patio table and you can feel the heat instantly when it’s turned on. Infrared heat is definitely the way to go because it heats objects rather than the air, so the heat won’t dissipate like gas heaters do. The heater does get a little warm on the backside while it is running but not hot enough to cause any damage to our vinyl siding. The remote works great as well. If you’re on the fence about which one to get, definitely get the 4000w because you can always turn down the heat. Additionally, I find this to be a great value for a patio heater. Similar heaters from other manufacturers cost around $200-$300 more. We will now be enjoying our patio all throughout the season. ... show more

It was way too intense heat for what I needed in my basement room. I was also unaware that radiant heat does not have a fan so you just get heat in front of the heater. so if you want this heat it is a great product

The heat output is not as strong as I hoped outside, but it helps. This is our third heater, but the company has been very pleasant to work with when the heater stops working and we need a replacement.

Really expected more out of this over the 3000W 120v version. The heat output is just slightly higher. Given the fact you have to either have a professional install it or be comfortable enough to run a 10 or 8 gauge 240v circuit I guess its installed now and on it's own breaker. So that's a plus?

Just to clarify you need to have an electrican install this. This heater doesn't run on a normal wall plug. The plug required is like the one for your dryer (240v). Once installed this heater does a decent job. We had this installed in our garage and it has some decent warm output. I was looking for a heater to help warm up one of my sides of the garage for snowplowing. This will do a good job in the small area needed. The remote included has decent range and is very easy to use. Lastly the price is good for the product you get. Currently I am very happy with this heater. Can't wait to use this in our midwest winter season when Im snowplowing and need a place to warm up. ... show more
