The material and print are great but the fit is a little off. The elastic waistband is thick and sitting too low. I am keeping the dress, I bought it half price so it was worth it. Full price, not so much.

I purchased this beautiful, ditsy floral dress in the hopes that it would fit me, an obese woman now that Amazon sells their own PLUS SIZE women’s clothing in much bigger sizes than in the past. Their plus sizes used to only go up to 3xl or 4xl when I noticed they were selling plus sizes several years ago. Now the sizes go even higher. This is a 6XL. While pretty, and made of a nice material is better suited for Spring or Fall in my opinion, regardless of the long sleeves. Maybe due to people who live in other states that are warmer such as the south or out west in Cali. having or supposed to be having warmer weather you would feel some kind of comfort in wearing this. My other issue with this dress not being in my opinion a proper winter weight is that while the dress fits my lower half, the top is so large that if you have small shoulders and not a triple D size breast or larger this is not going to fit you. The dress cinches in a bit at the waist which isn’t a problem per say, it gives you more of a classic hour glass figure vs an A-line which in most cases for a Plus Size woman is not too flattering, but where the top could have been buttons or some other kind of configuration, they chose to crisscross the fabric which only makes it comfortable for someone with a larger than usual chest. I personally do not have that type of body shape and therefore the top is gaping open on me, yet I need the size due to the size of my hips and butt. I have found many a nice pieces of clothing on AMAZON for my shape (PLUS) and in the higher end of the (SIZES) available, but this was just not within my feeling of comfort in wearing, or feeling as though it would somehow, even, If sewn or pinned, give me the shape I desired. In light of its fabric also I would not find any comfort or warmth for the frigid NY weather. The flow, of the fabric is precisely the kind of flow and versatility I look for when buying such a dress, whether to wear to a doctor appointment, casually or even dressed up with jewelry and heels. But as I would most likely due to my age and lifestyle pair this dress with pretty flat ballet slippers or even a sneaker slip on in a dark color and look and feel like it was a dress that you could wear even to work and be comfortable, neat and yet not over dressed. **DISCLAIMER: AS PER AMAZONS RULES TO DATE, LET IT BE KNOWN THAT I PURCHASE WITH MY OWN MONEY, TEST AND REVIEW MY OWN PRODUCTS FOR WHICH I PURCHASE ON AMAZON FROM THEM OR THEIR SELLERS. I purchased three of these dresses because the price was great. I was pleasantly surprised that they fit great at the bust and waist. They're a little longer than I would prefer, but will get them hemmed. The fabric is silky feeling and light, which is still great in the Summer heat. The fabric isn't see-through so a slip isn't required. These dresses are great for work, church, a date...etc.

The fabric and style of this dress look classy to me. It’s not flashy or sexy and sometimes that’s just what’s needed a nice ladylike dress that minds its own business. Every woman needs at least one dress like this, ready for when the situation calls for it.
