This took about an hour to assemble for my smart son-in-law. He thought the instructions were easy to read and all parts and screws were there. I received my heater very quickly. It was beautifully packed and the instructions were easy to follow. The nuts and bolts and such were well labeled and organized. I had an accident with the heater - all my fault - before I could use it. I contacted the company to see if I could buy the damaged parts instead of buying a whole new heater. They answered my inquiry quickly and were very helpful. They sent me the parts at no charge and those also came quickly. I can't say enough about the wonderful customer service. I have put this heater on my back deck. If you see the picture, feel free to NOT come at me for not observing the clearance recommendations. It's not going to stay in that spot while in use; it's only stored there. Having addressed that... This heater performs very well pushing out the heat. While the top dispersal shield feels somewhat flimsy, it deflects the heat outward from the burner unit like a boss. I wish the color somewhat matched the post, however. I recognize that it may not be possible due to discoloration over time, but it's still a wish. Anyway, it warms the area nicely and we are going to get good use out of it during the winter months. I assembled it by myself in about an hour. It's not difficult and the directions are outstanding with detailed and labeled pictures. Additionally, the hardware package is great since all the types of screws, nuts, etc and separated into labeled compartments. Great touch from the manufacturer. I'm impressed. After you get the unit put together it's fine, but the hardware supplied is so so. Only one Wetench and that's it. No way that's all you had you could put it together. For about another 99 cents in parts, all would have been good. I had all companies that put the hardware in cardboard like this was. They should but each step in a bad by itself, would not add much cost. Took me about an hour to get together. The instructions were nicely done. All in all work what I paid. There were low reviews that complained about the unit not working properly and I hate to say mine does not work properly either. It will not stay lit. After turning to the start position, pushing in the valve, igniting the propane and waiting the required time for the thermostat to heat up, then releasing the valve, the flame goes out. No matter how long you hold it in as soon as you release it the flame goes out. It looks great but it’s kinda useless. ... show more

Nicely and Tightly packed. Very easy to follow directions. All holes lined up. First one took about 45 mins. following instructions, second from memory took about 30 mins. It comes with a throwaway wrench, but to facilitate and cruise through the assembly use the tools shown if you have them. Haven’t hooked up propane yet. So finger’s crossed that they fire up as easy as they went together. ... show more

Our patio heater arrived in a timely manner, was easily assembled, and works like a champ! One of the wingnut stud bolts that secures the top reflector panel was defective...only had threads on one side. Oops. We contacted customer service and immediately received a reply. In fact, we have received six messages from them...just letting us know they received the request for a replacement bolt, when it would ship, when it did ship, when we could expect to receive it, asking if we had received it. Truly, above-and-beyond customer service! Highly recommend this company. ... show more
