I've bought Dyson's in the past and they are well worth the extra cost. I love their charging base because it hangs the vacuum against the wall and you can easily take the vacuum on and off. I have a lot of hardwood floors and it works great. Some of the carpet especially the front door rug is deeper pile and the Dyson does get hung up on that. My only complaint is that the seller failed to include the crevice tool. I contacted the seller twice and they never responded so I would not recommend them. I have now contacted Amazon Customer Service twice and they have not been of any help resolving the issue. This is a $7 item that I can buy on Amazon, but it is the principle that the seller ignored my two emails and Amazon keeps telling me to wait. ... show more

WOW! This vacuum is FANTASTIC! I am so happy with it. It is lightweight, simple to use and without going overboard with compliments, I would say this style of vacuum almost makes housecleaning fun! I think I am glad now that my old upright vacuum died!

    • Great Cordless Vac!
I love the suction of the Dyson cordless vac and it's great not to be restricted by a cord. The battery life is not very long though. I vacuumed on high speed for about 20 minutes and the power was dying after a full charge. I guess if you use a lower speed the power will last longer.

This is the fourth Dyson I have bought. I gave them as gifts to my kids. They are a game changer. Super easy to use and get the floor clean! With a cat and a dog, this vac keeps my house clean!!!

    • I need to order these twice a year!
This vacuum will NOT last you over a year. The first one died after 11 months, this one died after 6. I am so frustrated because this vacuum is what I need as it’s lightweight and I have nerve damage in my arms, but I cannot afford to keep buying Dyson stick vacs when they just don’t last.

I have wall to wall wooden floors. A few area rugs. So easy breezy to keep my floor’s and area rugs the way I like them…’Perfect and well kept! Vacuuming is not even a chore! I had it mounted on the wall for easy access, plus that way it is always charged up for when I need it:) Just love the No cord feature, what a game changer! This is my third dyson product and I love this one very much. It does a great job for hardwood floors and for pet hairs. I have a back issue and Dyson stick vacuums are the greatest and don’t make me sore from vacuuming. I didn’t expect my first Dyson stick vacuum to last so long and we still use it for the patio, etc., and the new one for the house.
