TOTALY DISGUSTED My wife and I have had nothing but problems with this product. My wife detests it. Absolute waste of money. Positive results: It cleans extremely well, when it works. Negative: 1. I ordered this from Amazon on 7.27.24 and it would not work. I contacted Dyson and they replaced the Body. 2. It arrived on 7.32.24. It was defective. After a hassle, they agreed to to send an upgraded model, V8 Absolute. 3. It arrived on 814.24. I also bought wall-hanging devices from Amazon and installed in closet. 4. We used it a couple of times for brief clean ups. 5. After storage in its wall mounted charger for a couple of months, it was completed discharged. No constant in the mount. 6. After charging directly (not in the mount), we used it earlier in the fall, and while it cleaned well, its battery ran out very quickly. 7. We just finished cleaning up after the Christmas tree, and it was completely discharged within about 20 minutes. Low power setting, cleaning in bursts to conserve battery. Five hours of charging between uses is absurd. We wish we had never bought this vacuum. ... show more

    • Nice vacuum
I have to admit that I was expecting more for the price, but it does a good job. It is light weight and you don't have to worry about and outlet being close when using it. If something is peas sized or large, it gets pushed around and not sucked it up. With pushing and pulling the vacuum, the pulling portion tends to just drag items instead of cleaning. The handle can get uncomfortable after using it a while. There are 2 modes to the vacuum. I will call them low and high speed. I use the low speed for hard floors and high speed for carpets and non-floor items like vehicles and drawers. The high speed usually only last 10-15 minutes of continuous use. I usually wear noise deafening ear muffs when using them for longer jobs because vacuums are loud and the high speed setting is quite load with a higher pitch. Here are some of the things I like about the product. The removing of the caught dirt is genius. All you do is pull up on something and push it down again and the dirt containment area is emptied. The box it came in is great. Very little plastic was used. Nothing to do with the actual product, but it was so unique that I remembered it after a year. The vacuum has a charging station that you can attach to a wall and the design it nice and makes sure the device is secure and won't fall out of the stand. The charging stand also allows you to put 2 vacuum attachment on it, so you have easy access your favorite attachments without searching for them. The vacuum charges fairly quickly.     • WOW! Remarkable vacuum that is SO quiet.
Okay, I’ll admit I’m a vacuumaholic. I own five vacuums. Everything from built-in with the insanely long hose, to a light-weight but ear-plug requiring upright to a floor robot. I’ll admit the price was a bit higher than I wanted to pay but seriously, how much have i spent up to this point? Dyson makes excellent vacuums. Exceptional suction but even more remarkable, QUIET! I thought our carpets would require the max-mode using up the battery quickly when, in fact, the regular mode did just as well. And having three cats, vacuuming up everything from cat hair to cat litter is very easy. The machine works well on our think carpets and tile floors without changing vacuum heads. I haven’t used all the tools that are included but they appear very well made. It’s worth the money. Honestly. ... show more

We absolutely love this vacuum! I was a little worried how it would do with both carpet and hardwood floors but it’s been great! It transitions very well between both floor types and picks up everything! We have a toddler, infant, and cat and we vacuum MULTIPLE times per day. It’s so quick and easy to grab and clean up messes. I was also worried about being able to vacuum everything in one charge, but so far that hasn’t been an issue. I can vacuum everything inch of my house (about 1,800 sq ft) without any issues. I do have to empty it a few times though. With that being said, being able to pull the trash button is amazing! I never have to worry about getting the hair or dirt on my hands!
