I know the battery doesn’t last too long to clean a whole house but I bought this for in between cleanings and for high spaces. It’s perfect for that. I get a lot of traffic in the main door. I have wood floors and I don’t want to drag out my other sweeper for touch ups. I love this sweeper because it’s lightweight and easy to get to. So after a few days of using this, I love it!! This vacuum really works well for me. It has great suction, even on carpeting, its light weight makes it easy to move around and even go upstairs if I need it up there. It picks up little scraps of paper really easily and I am surprised at the size of item it will suction up into the chamber. Then when the chamber is full, this vacuum is so easy to empty!! I purchased a knockoff a few about a year ago, thinking I would save some money, it was difficult to empty so I finally broke down and bought the Dyson, the real deal and I am happy that I did. My only complaint is that I wish the charge would last a little bit longer. ... show more

Hubs bought me for christmas! The best tool in the kitchen. I can sweep so easily! I love it! Powerful suction and HAIR DOESNT GET TANGLED!!! It works amazing on hard floors (which is so hard to find) and does great on rugs and carpet! Buy it, you won't be disappointed!

I love the way this vacuum cleans, it has great suction and cleans really well. However the run time is not nearly 40 mins, more like 20 mins on high. But I mainly use it for quick pickups in the kitchen and utility room and it is great for that. Plus it does run longer if I'm not using it on carpet. It cleans carpet great but it uses more power and will die quicker. I mainly use my larger corded Dysons for carpet. But I have to say I am a big Dyson fan. The only ones I will buy. ... show more

    • Battery does not last
The battery fully charged lasts at most 10 minutes. It is extremely difficult to use as battery runs out before I am done. Certainly not worth the cost!
