    • Great once you set expectations for what you're purchasing!!
I was very apprehensive buying such an expensive appliance at first, especially spending the $600+ for a vacuum cleaner. I could have gone with a used / older model but felt like this is a buy-it-for-life (almost) kind of purchase. After using this vacuum cleaner for the last month or so, I'm very glad I went with the updated model. Pros: - Great suction power - Canister emptying is easy - Battery life is perfect (plenty of charge using the normal suction setting, vacuuming approximately 700 sq. feet of condo carpet) - Functional attachments that are easy to connect/disconnect and use - Picks up dust, grit, and dirt that even a Rug Doctor cleaning didn't pick up. - Easy to use to vacuum the car, furniture, couches, etc.. Cons: - Non-removable battery - Cannot use the vacuum whilst charging - Canister capacity is a bit on the "small" side - 5 hours to fully charge the battery is a bit intolerable Knowing the canister is on the smaller side, this vacuum is great for cleaning up touch-up cleaning and small, low-dirt homes. For context, my wife and I have carpet in our 700 sq. foot condo, with a long hair cat. We also do not walk on the carpet with shoes, so this vacuum is great for mid-week and weekend cleanings. The canister would probably be full if we went a full week without cleaning. On a typical brush-up clean, we fill the canister about halfway. As for battery life, we haven't had it die while cleaning yet. I can get through the entire condo with barely using half of the battery. We've got it plugged in when it's not in use, so it's always got a full charge. I think setting expectations for what this vacuum is capable of is worthwhile if you're considering purchasing this appliance. It does the job very well as long as you're not trying to vacuum an entire house or go long periods without cleaning. For the price, I would have expected faster charging times and the option for a removable battery or at least to have the capability to use the vacuum corded. But as said before, we haven't ran into the issue of running out of battery during use, so perhaps it's a non-issue for our use case. The accessories seem to be well built and the finish on the vacuum itself is well done. ... show more

    • Powerful and gets me through the house on a single charge
I was reluctant to pay this much for a vacuum but after using it for about 10 months I would buy it again in an instant if something happened to it. The first thing I noticed was how light it was, it is very easy to use one handed and controlling the direction is so easy. The second thing I noticed was how quiet it was, I wasn't expecting it to be that quiet. Although it doesn't sound like it this thing is powerful. We have 2 cats and a dog and this thing works extremely well. I use the soft roller on the hard wood and tile floors and it does a great job at picking up even the fine dust. I never feel like the floors are dirty after using it, it picks up everything. Even with all the pet hair I don't have any issues with it sticking to the roller. The carpet roller really does a great job at picking everything up and it doesn't shoot debris out of the back like some vacuums I have used. I find it is best to use it on carpets instead of hard wood floors though. The suction is so strong that you have to be careful with rugs that don't have a stiff backing, they will bunch up and stop the roller. I find it best to hold it down with my feet to keep it down while I vacuum it. The upholstery attachment works incredibly well on the couches, honestly the best I have used. It doesn't just bunch the hair together without picking it up like some vacuums, after 2 passes it's gone. I also use it for the kitchen table chairs and the bathroom rugs. The canister is a decent size, even with all the pet hair I probably empty it about 5 times for the whole house. It's so easy to do though that I don't mind if sometimes it's more often, pull the top up, push it back down and close the bottom door. It only takes a few seconds. At first I did find that the finger I used to pull the trigger would hurt after a while, but it was because I was holding on too tight. Try using it with a lose grip, since it's so light you can easily manoeuvre it without holding on to it too tight. They suggest you clean the filters once a month, and it might look clean on the outside when you pull it out and think it looks fine like I did but when I finally cleaned it the water was very dirty coming out of it. I also keep a nickle and safety pin near the dock so I can remove the roller and the hair that gets wrapped around on the inside. With a kitchen, living room, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and the basement I am able to do the whole house on a charge. There have been times where I wasn't able to finish the basement because I ran out of power but those times I spent more time cleaning the dust off shelves and tables. I don't really use the Max setting since I don;t feel like I need it. Using Max on the carpet seems too strong and stop the rollers from spinning. It is nice to have when I am cleaning the cars though. It would be nice to have a replaceable battery for the times I have run out of power. Right now it doesn't happen much but if we had a bigger house it could be an issue. Luckily you don't have to wait until it's fully charged to start using it again. ... show more
