    • This vacuum is so great, it makes me smile!!! 😁🥰
Style: V15 Detec Pro
This is the first product I have ever felt the need to write a review about. I LOVE this vacuum. Here's why: -I have terrible allergies to dust mites, certain fabric dyes, and bugs. I even get allergy shots. After using this Dyson for the first time, there was a significant and instantly noticeable difference with both the cleanliness on the floor and the air since all the bad stuff on the floor was gone. As I have counted to use it every week, it's still going at the highest quality. Before the first time I used the Dyson, I did a thorough vacuum with my old vacuum right before to see if the Dyson really was as powerful as it claimed to be. The amount of dust, hair, and who knows what else the Dyson picked up after my old vacuum was astounding and I was sold. -I have high pile carpet upstairs that aways felt dusty and greasy after vacuuming it. My old and vacuum had an allergy filter and roller that was meant for high pile carpet. After using the Dyson, I understand what clean floors are. It gets the job done without have to go over spots more than twice. -I used the hair screw tool to vacuum my sofa. I thought my sofa was clean. Nope. The amount of small particles, dust mites, and dust that the Dyson collected was shocking but reassuring that once again, it's doing the job. -The canister is so so easy to clean. After you dump the stuff it picked up, if you want, you can take the canister off and rinse it under the sink with water, dry it, and reattach. -I've only had this for two months but the battery is showing no signs of shortened usage. It's nice that it comes with two batteries. I can vacuum my entire 1,100 sq. ft house with one battery and have room left to do it again on the same charge. I'm not sure how many sq. ft it will work with on one charge, but if you have a larger house, a spare battery could be a bonus so you can get everything done at once. -Some people were complaining it didn't come with a wall mount. Yes, that can be frustrating but I got a basic one on amazon for $10. Problem solved. -One other thing to note is that you have to hold the trigger when the vacuum is running. If that bothers you, there are attachments you can buy that are under $5. I bought one when I ordered the vacuum but you don't need it. But it's nice to know you can get one if you want. This is the one. Buy this. You don't need to do anymore research on 20 more vacuums. This vacuum gets the job done with quality and ease. Worth every penny. ... show more

    • Searched long and hard to finally get this vacuum
Style: V15 Detec Pro
I bought this vacuum to replace an old Dyson. Really enjoyed the old one but it was time to move on and since I had such a great experience with the old one, it just seemed natural to purchase another Dyson. Very, very happy with the new vacuum and this package deal even came with a spare battery so I can finish my whole house in one day. I move the furniture and clean the base boards and behind the stove and fridge, etc. so I need the extra battery. ... show more

    • Wall mount included, or not?
Style: V15 Detec Pro
Received the V15 Detect Pro today, and it works very well. The product itself seems solid, however, there's 2 things eating at me. Note that I purchased this product directly from Amazon, ships from/sold by Amazon, Prime, and in new condition. First, it didn't include the wall mount/charging dock. The product page says and shows that the wall mount is included with this product, but it's not actually included. The box doesn't mention anything about the wall mount/charging dock, so I think this must be an error on the product page. Second, this product wasn't recognized by Dyson when attempting to register. I tried inputting the serial number into Dyson's online warranty portal, but I received a message that the serial number couldn't be identified. I contacted support via chat, and they resolved the issue, so the product now shows in my account; however, it displays a message that "online support may not be available for this product because it was purchased in another country." Also, when I attempted to add the product to my Dyson app, it registered as a V12 Slim rather than a V15 Detect Pro. This will be moderately annoying when ordering consumables for this product, such as the HEPA filter, because I won't be able to order directly from their app. In terms of the product itself, there's 2 unfortunate things to note. First, lack of the aforementioned wall mount makes this cumbersome to store and charge. Next, there isn't any mechanism to hold-down the trigger button, so you have to hold it down when vacuuming. The button is easy and natural to hold down when vacuuming, so it's not the worst thing, but it's not ideal. Apparently the Gen5Detect has a feature so you don't have to manually keep the trigger held-down, so that may be the better option. Overall, I'm somewhat disappointed. ... show more

    • Good vacuum, watch out for listing accuracy and dyson registration issue
Style: V15 Detec Pro
Fully agree with multiple comments in the thread - wall mount listed in the item description and pictures, but not included in the package (box doesn't mention it too). So most likely a item description issue. Amazon rep was able to issue a small refund to cover the cost of wall mount, if I want to purchase it separately. Primary issue is Dyson not recognizing the V15 Detect Pro, app detects it as V12 that's scary. Dyson representative was able to help register the product that now shows up a manual entry without the system properly recognizing it. Just useful for warranty, if I have to use it. Price was good considering that it included additional battery. Works well, may a bit heavy for extended use. ... show more

    • Dock mount was not included
Style: V15 Detec Pro
Item is exactly as described except that the mount dock was not included in the box. Dyson made this right and has shipped one to me at no charge.

    • Wall mount not included with Pro version
Style: V15 Detec Pro
5 star vacuum, 3 star review because I was disappointed that the Pro version doesn't come with everything it suggests it should from the listing. The picture shows the Quick Clean wand with the hidden crevice tool in the top but it comes with the standard wand, no hidden crevice tool. It also is supposed to come with a wall mount according to the "In the Box" picture and the components list. But it does not. So now I must purchase that separately since this vacuum doesn't stand up on its own for storage. Also, I've seen reviews of the Pro version talk about how great the Fluffy Optic Cleaner head with its laser that reveals dirt. This doesn't come with the Pro version, but it also doesn't show it on any of the pictures so these people either purchased that separately or it could be an AI review. Just wanted to clarify for anyone considering this specific model. You will need to buy the Fluffy Optic head separately. It's still a good value if you get it on sale and buy the wand and wall mount separately. If you want the Fluffy Optic head for hard floors consider that's another $109 from Dyson. All the ones I saw on Amazon for cheaper were knock offs. I'm glad I got it during Prime Day but wouldn't but it full priced especially with everything that's missing in this Amazon version. Otherwise, it's a great vacuum. Suction is way stronger than my old V8 and it does a much better job cleaning my carpets and linoleum. My V8 was almost 8 years old and still running fine, I expect this one to last a long time as well. ... show more
