Our home is about 2,000 sq ft, mostly wood floors and tile on 3 levels. We have one cat. Our primary vacuum is a plug-in Dyson Ball Animal, with which we are very satisfied. The cordless V11 is exactly what we were looking for when we decided to find a robust replacement for a broom and dust pan. The big vacuum works great, but it requires getting it out of the closet, unwinding the cord, plugging in the cord, pushing it around the clean-up area, then unplugging, coiling the cord and putting it away. This is unsatisfactory for small clean up jobs that are inevitable between major cleaning days. Enter the V11. It is light, easy to grab, capable, and convenient with the separately purchased free-standing rack/mount. Not having to fool around with the cord is the biggest advantage, but it is reasonably light, maneuverable, and capable. The adjustable suction is nice and the battery charge has never run out, despite running it on both stair cases (up and down) and our entire 1,200 sq ft living level. It works especially well on hard floors, but needs a little bit more effort on our large area rugs or carpets. Contrary to some other reviews here, we have not had any mechanical or electrical difficulties with the vacuum. Nor is it difficult to use and empty. Yes, you have to hold the trigger for the vacuum to run, but it is neither difficult, nor tiring. I particularly like the emptying process for the canister; it holds a fair amount of fur, dust, and dirt and empties neatly into our tall kitchen garbage receptacle. In summary, this is a very convenient tool for keeping a home clean during the week. If I had a small home/apartment, it would be quite sufficient on its own. ... show more

Ordered this to replace an old Dyson handheld, it would only last a couple of minutes even in extended run mode. This one is awesome, great suction, great battery life, great accessories! Couldn't be happier. This thing is the Iphone of vacuums, works well, easy to use, and absolutely destroys any other vacuums. It filters the air going through really well, tested it myself with a fog machine and no smoke/fog would come out the other end. This thing is great for vacuuming at home, your car, and any other case. It's easy to use, powerful, and battery lasts forever! I used this to clean two cars fully without recharging and it still had plenty of charge left! So, I have only owned this vacuum for about four or five weeks. But I can tell you this is the best vacuum I have ever owned. And while it is the first stick vacuum I’ve ever owned. It is still the best. 110% Worth the money. Good vacuum. Decently light weight. This is my first battery powered house vacuum, and I adore the cord-free aspect. I love the cleanable filter, and the easy to empty bucket. The "no suction loss" thing is legendary. Battery life is just fine for cleaning basically all my house on "normal" power mode. I took a star off because it's a bit tough to push around on carpets due to the spherical wheels being small. You have to get it at just the right angle for it to glide nicely. The trigger is also really unergonomic, which is surprising, considering the brand. This definitely feels like a blister maker, the way it kinda digs into my first two fingers while pushing around. It has some trouble picking up "large" debris on the floor, stuff like small pebbles or kibble sized bits. Seems to want to fling those around rather than pick them up. Its not a huge deal, but just something I thought worth mentioning. For hairs, dust, and dirt, it's awesome. ... show more

Light-weight, powerful, great battery life, easy to dump canister and keep clean. What an outstanding product. Very light and easy to push and vacuum. Amazing how much dirt/ debris it sucks out of my carpet. Very easy to dump the canister (quick disconnect and plunge-dump). Keeping unit clean is a very easy process. Love the battery % screen with 3 different power settings. No issues with the trigger squeeze (which has to be held to run the vac) and likely saves a bit of battery power. Can be used with one hand on short carpet pile (long/ thick pile may need two hands). Good charger and wall mount if needed. Great accessories! Very nicely packaged (well engineered).
