I’ve had the Dyson Outsize for about two months now and I am extremely impressed. My husband has pushed back for years about getting a battery powered vacuum because he thought it wouldn’t last long enough for cleaning. D Boy, did it prove him wrong! It quickly cleans 2,000 sq feet with plenty of battery power left and I love not having to plug in a vacuum from room to room. It saves so much time. We also have a Labrador, Husky and two cats that shed hair constantly. The vacuum head doesn’t tangle and the canister doesn’t get clogged with hair. It easily dumps in the trash. Oh, did I mention the dust and dirt? I was shocked at how much the Dyson vacuumed up. Works so much better than our other vacuum. The only little negative I would add is that it can be slightly hard to push over carpet. Hardwood floors or tile are easy peasy. Just glides right over them. Thank you @Dyson for letting me prove my husband wrong. After 31 years of marriage he should know by now he can never be right. lol!

I have always loved dyson products. I was a bit worried about purchasing a cordless vacuum But the first time I used it I wish I had bought one a long time ago. My honest review though I think it is going to come down to exactly what you are looking for. I love how versatile it is. I love the max setting it will pick up everything on my hard wood floors but I live in a large house so if I use the max setting the battery dies much quicker. I only use that setting when on my tile in my bathroom because of the grooves on the floor. When i dont use the max setting I am able to vacuum my 3600 sq Ft home without recharging. I hope that helps with the battery portion . It picks up pet hair really well. thats my favorite part of the vacuum. It comes with attachments you will actually use . I love that I am able to hang it on the wall . Also just yesterday I thought it went dead quickly but it was the vacuum telling me to wash the filter. I have used it for a long time now and just now having to wash the filter. I love that the screen tells me when I need to do it.Yes its a touch pricey but the price is worth paying in my eyes because its a great vacuum and looks great to.

Love this vacuum. Easy to use. Great life span. Battery goes fast on the highest speed. Great attachments. I just wish it has a better power nozzle so you don't have to hold it the hold time and just press start. Great suction. Cleans great. Great for dog hair or cleaning the car.

I researched for a couple of weeks for a cordless. Reviews are nothing until you see a comparison video and my choice was made. Making that choice on Cyber Monday was even better. I own a corded Shark and vacuumed while this charged up fully (recommended before use). I then used the Dyson and holy crud what was left behind shocked me. I think it grabbed dirt from under the house. My Shark doesn’t even leave vacuum lines anymore, but oh boy the Dyson did. Now I’m wondering if will be better than my moms twice as much Kirby. The big Pro for me is the suction. I’m just stunned what it picked up. It’s also short, so perfect for the 5’2” me. I do have long hair to mid butt and not one hair was around the roller. So tired of sitting on the floor with a box cutter cleaning off the Shark roller and still can’t get it all. *Probably why doesn’t work well anymore. The larger canister, let me tell ya, holds a lot. I love that I can attach the attachments right to the power head which makes doing stairs so much easier. Can’t wait to clean my car without an extension cord. No issues not being able to run a straight line and that surprised me considering the brush head swivels easily. Very easy to control and glides easy across the carpet on all settings. There is brush head height adjustment if you have longer carpet threads. Transitioning to tile floor was a breeze. Cleaning area rugs on medium worked great, never ate them once. The Cons: The power head is heavier than it looks and will take some time to get use to. That with holding the power button at all times to run makes it seem heavier. I found myself switching hands to relieve the weight and trigger finger. Dyson really should add a lock feature. If you have weak hands or carpal tunnel, this may be an issue. Make sure you screw the charging dock to a stud as the weight of the vacuum makes it pull forward and you don’t want it ripping out of the wall. Would I recommend? Most definitely. Why the 4 stars, the weight and no power lock is a downfall for me. Not a deal breaker, but may not be for everyone. Happy vacuuming all :)

I bought on a whim (and on sale) just because. Our main vacuum is many years old and although it still works pretty well, it's big, heavy and....you know. A PITA This thing is amazing! It's light, powerful and blow me away how long it runs. On hard floors obviously it'll run a lot longer, and on carpet, has to work harder thus runtime is shorter. A combo as I went through the house the first time, was just over 1 hour runtime, both hard floor and carpet!! That first run was pretty great, but as I watched the canister, I couldn't believe what all it was collecting and how much, on floors that had been vacuumed recently. The other amazing thing, and likely why it collected a lot more "stuff" is how nimble it is. You can vacuum a floor under a table and not move chairs, just twist and manipulate the head and it slides anywhere and everywhere. Under beds and furniture, same thing. There's almost nowhere you can't maneuver the head. So ya, it's a little more expensive but it replaces 2 other vacuums and does so easily. It does everything they do and a lot more. Like other battery operated "things" I've switched to, I expect replacing batteries over time, but treat them right and they'll last longer!

This vacuum is amazing and well worth the price! For the past several years I found myself buying off brand cordless vacuums and needing a new one almost annually because of the poor quality. With 4 pets and a toddler we needed to finally buy a good quality vacuum and we settled on this after reading a number of reviews and comparing others. Did not disappoint! This vacuum is so powerful, huge container, and so easy to use and navigate. Picks up SO much more dirt and pet hair than previous products we’ve used. *UPDATE* Two years later and this vacuum has held up so well! We have two kids and four pets, so this vacuum has seen things lol. Still just as powerful and effective as the day we bought it!

I was beyond excited to purchase the Dyson Oversize vacuum, expecting it to live up to its reputation for quality and performance. Unfortunately, my experience was a massive disappointment. The vacuum quit working within the first week of use. I immediately contacted Dyson, and while they agreed to replace it under warranty, they required me to send the defective unit back first. This process left me without a vacuum for nearly a month — *during the holiday season*, no less. Hosting Christmas with no vacuum is frustrating and stressful, especially given the premium price I paid for this product. I understand the need for warranty processes, but Dyson's inability to provide a temporary replacement or expedite the process is unacceptable for a product at this price point. As a customer, I expected much better service and support. Instead, I was left dealing with an inconvenient mess during one of the busiest times of the year. Bottom line: I wouldn’t recommend this vacuum, and I’m hesitant to trust Dyson products in the future. If you're considering this purchase, be aware of their cumbersome warranty policies and the potential for major inconvenience if something goes wrong. Ugh.

Can I say I LOVE this vacuum? I LOVE this vacuum! Makes quick work of cleaning floors without dragging a cord around and plugging and unplugging into different rooms. This replaces the Dyson Animal Ball which was hard to empty, and hard situating the bin back onto the main unit. I love the auto power modes when switching from hard woods to area rugs. I love the pivoting floor brush which gets into tight spaces and angles. I can vacuum under beds and other furniture, and under bathroom vanities, no sweat. It’s also a hand-held. Very convenient. Some don’t like having a constant hold on the trigger. I bought a trigger hold on Amazon but haven’t used it, because the vacuum time is quick. I also bought an upright stand to store the unit with its’ attachments. The best part is getting this on the Black Friday sale. Woohoo !👊
