Calder Like Metal Stand For My Fave Dyson, The V12 Detect Slim
We’ve been a Dyson family for decades now, and own several Dyson machines. The V12 Detect Slim is my personal fave of all the Dysons. The V12 is lightweight and importantly, is the only current cordless Dyson that eliminates the trigger mechanism (which I personally dislike), while still delivering the high‑quality cleaning performance that defines Dyson. The V12 is my daily go to. (We have heavier duty Dysons for the weekly deep cleaning.) We keep a V12 on the main floor for quick cleanups, and this stand integrates directly into that workflow. This provides structured aesthetically pleasant vertical storage, removes loose items from the floor, and eliminates the need for wall mounts. In our home, keeping the floor clear from loose objects is always a goal, and this solves that requirement cleanly. The design of this stand is executed with a level of refinement that exceeds expectations. The finish is an eggshell texture, and the white sits between creamy and bright without drifting into Arctic or warm tones. The overall silhouette has a modern‑art quality, almost sculptural, and it reads as a stationary Calder‑like object when the vacuum is not attached. The base is weighted, and that weight is substantial enough to stabilize the entire structure. Although the stand appears visually light, the weighted base prevents tipping when placing or removing the vacuum. The engineering choice is effective and gives this a presence that feels deliberate and durable. Charging behavior is simple, although I admit to being initially confused. This stand does not charge anything independently. The stand includes a rear channel that allows the standard Dyson charger to be routed discreetly if desired. In our home, we use a separate charging cradle with a spare battery because outlet placement is not convenient near the storage location. As a result, the stand functions purely as a stand and tool storage, and that configuration has been ideal because it keeps cords out of the area entirely. Daily use highlights one of the more counterintuitive aspects of the design. When the V12 is placed on the stand, it hangs from the top and does not touch the base. That floating placement is surprising at first, but it produces a consistently clean and uncluttered look because the base never collects dust or scuffs from the vacuum. The stand’s weight keeps everything stable, and the vacuum remains accessible without contributing to visual or physical clutter. The price is about $125, so this sits firmly in the premium accessory category. Dyson machines are premium, and Dyson accessories follow the same pattern. Whether this is worth the cost depends entirely on how much value someone places on structured storage, visual order, and keeping floors clear. For our homes, the combination of vertical organization, aesthetic coherence, and immediate access makes this worth the price. The V12 is my favorite Dyson, and this completes the setup in a way that aligns with how we use it. Tool storage is the strongest functional advantage. This accommodates up to five tools, and in a multi‑Dyson household, tools tend to migrate. We have accumulated bags of accessories over the years, and while the variety is excellent, the organization is not. This consolidates the most frequently used tools into a single location, and everyone in the home knows where they belong. Avoiding wall‑mounted objects is important to us, and this provides a freestanding solution that keeps everything together without requiring holes in the walls. Compatibility is specific, and this only works with certain HH and SV numbers, so double check the numbers under the battery of your V12 before ordering. Overall, this is a strong addition to the Dyson ecosystem. We have two V12 vacuums, and this has been an excellent fit for the one on our main floor. If Dyson releases versions of this for other models, I would purchase them without hesitation. ... show more

Ditch the Drill and Save Your Drywall: The Ultimate Freestanding Basecamp for Your V12!
Let's be completely real for a second—as much as we all appreciate top-tier cleaning technology, figuring out where to permanently store it can be an absolute headache. The thought of breaking out the power drill, hunting for wall studs, and permanently scarring pristine drywall is usually enough to make me procrastinate on setting up a charging station indefinitely. That is precisely why I brought the Dyson Floor Dok™ Multi into my living space to pair up with my V12 Detect Slim™. It completely bypasses the need for heavy anchors and messy spackle, delivering a brilliant, freestanding solution that honestly feels more like a sleek piece of modern tech furniture than a basic utility stand. The clean, minimalist aesthetic blends seamlessly into the room, elevating the vibe instead of looking like a cluttered cleaning closet spilling out into the open. The engineering behind this piece of hardware is phenomenally well-executed, starting from the ground up. I always closely examine the foundation of freestanding units because nobody wants a top-heavy stand that threatens to topple over every time you grab the handle. The brilliant minds behind this design engineered a heavily weighted, low-profile circular base that drops the center of gravity straight to the floor. It completely eliminates any swaying, wobbling, or precarious tipping, providing a rock-solid anchor. Rising from that pristine white base is a smooth, premium aluminum mast that perfectly complements the high-tech, futuristic aesthetic of the vacuum itself. The whole setup stands resolutely in the corner of my kitchen, holding its ground with undeniable authority while keeping my gear exactly where it needs to be. Where this dock truly shines in everyday practicality is the flawless, drop-in charging mechanism. The power cable routes seamlessly and discreetly through the internal structure of the cradle, meaning the absolute second you dock the machine, it instantly begins to charge. There are no loose cords to trip over, no secondary plugs to fumble with, and absolutely no bending down to find a rogue wire. You simply slide the machine down into the top bracket, and it clicks into place with a highly satisfying, secure grip. This incredibly frictionless experience guarantees that the battery is permanently topped off and ready to deploy at a moment's notice. It effectively turns the end of a cleaning session from a tedious chore into a highly efficient, satisfying routine. Beyond just housing the main unit, this dock operates as a brilliant, centralized command center for all of your specialized attachments. If you own a V12 Detect Slim™, you know how quickly the advanced motorized heads, soft dusting brushes, and precision crevice tools can turn a closet shelf into a chaotic mess. This stand features dedicated, cleverly angled precision ports that securely clasp your favorite accessories right alongside the main wand. Having everything meticulously organized in plain sight and immediately within an arm's reach means I actually utilize my specific attachments far more often than I used to. Instead of avoiding a dusty baseboard because the right tool is buried in a drawer somewhere, I just grab it off the mast, snap it on, and execute the job perfectly. Ultimately, investing in a high-caliber cleaning machine means you really need to consider how it integrates into your daily life. The absolute best part of living with this freestanding dock is the sheer tactical flexibility it brings to my home maintenance. Because it is totally mobile, I can easily relocate the entire charging station from the mudroom to the pantry or the hallway depending on where it serves me best at that time of year, all without breaking out a tub of wall patch. This setup honors the brilliant design of the Dyson ecosystem while solving the incredibly common dilemma of accessory storage and permanent mounting. If you want a zero-hassle, expertly engineered home base that keeps your gear fully charged, beautifully organized, and continuously ready for action, this is undeniably the ultimate way to go. ... show more

SO Close; Definitely For Slims. Boo, But Works?
When this popped up, I debated running to see what model our Dyson was, but these things go so quick that I decided to go for it anyways. When I got it, I grabbed the head to see if out Dyson would fit, and I was shocked to see that it looked like it did! This comes needing assembly, but it's just some quick snaps to put it together. The base is weighted and the entire stand looks so attractive. We drilled into our wall with the original mount our Dyson came with, and not only did it not last a year, but it was hideous. This looks so nice. I set it up, eager to drop in our Dyson annndddd.. the sides are raised just a little too much for it to make full contact. I really miss when Dyson was all about innovation instead of leaning more towards money grabbing like it is now. Why not just make a universal mount since y'all have so many different models now? Anyways, I carefully popped off the charger cap cover and I'm manually plugging it in but still resting it in the dock. It works well and looks great, so will be fine until the day we upgrade to a V12 Slim, which is hopefully soon. So, all in all, it really will only work for V12 slims listed, so you'll want to go search up the dock for your exact model. :/ ... show more

Great
The Dyson Floor Dok Multi is a useful accessory for anyone who wants a dedicated place to store a V12 Detect Slim vacuum and its attachments. The freestanding design is particularly convenient because it avoids having to drill a wall-mounted dock into a permanent location. I like that it can keep the vacuum upright and organized rather than leaning it in a closet or leaving different tools scattered around the room. This type of dock can also make the vacuum easier to grab quickly for small cleanups because everything stays together in one spot. The slim white design fits the clean, minimalist look of Dyson equipment without taking up a large amount of floor space. It is still worth confirming compatibility with the exact V12 model and attachments before purchasing, since Dyson accessories can vary between product lines. Overall, this Dyson Floor Dok Multi is a good value for the money. ... show more

Keeps My Dyson and Attachments Organized
I really like the idea of the Dyson Floor Dok because I wanted a proper place to keep my vacuum without permanently mounting anything to the wall. This gives the vacuum a dedicated home while still letting me move the whole setup later if I decide to rearrange the room. The stand looks clean and streamlined, and my Dyson sits neatly in place rather than leaning against a wall or getting shoved into a corner. I also like that it charges while docked, so it's ready to grab whenever I need it. The accessory storage is particularly useful. Being able to keep up to five attachments with the vacuum solves the problem of having Dyson tools scattered around a closet or tucked into drawers where I inevitably forget about them. It does take up some floor space, but I think the tradeoff is worth it for the convenience and organization. It also feels much more intentional than simply propping an expensive cordless vacuum against something. Definitely check your model number before ordering because compatibility is specific, but for a compatible V12 Detect Slim, this is a very nice storage and charging solution. ... show more

The dock that outranked every other stand in my house
The laundry room finally has a spot where the vacuum actually lives instead of leaning against the dryer, threatening to topple every time someone grabs a towel. I set this up right next to the folding table, and it has become the vip of stands, no other appliance holder in this house gets that kind of respect. The look is clean, simple white, nothing bulky or awkward jutting out, and it actually holds all five tools without them sliding off mid laundry cycle. The functionality is the real win though, no more digging through a bin for the crevice tool while a kid yells that they cannot find matching socks. It grabs the charge fast and holds the vacuum upright without wobbling, which matters when the room gets chaotic during a wash and fold marathon. One thing I did notice is it needs a decent stretch of floor space to sit free standing, so if your laundry room is tight you will want to measure first. Otherwise it just sits there quietly doing its job, and for once something in that room actually stays organized without me nagging anyone about it. ... show more

Pricey. Portable. Sturdy.
I ordered this Dyson Floor Dok Multi for my V12 Detect Slim vacuum and am very pleased with it despite the somewhat high price at the time of this review. It was super easy to assemble and very stable. The base, while very slim, is weighted perfectly to hold the vacuum and many attachments without risk of falling over. It is very easy to place the vac for charging as well as remove. The cord feeds down the backside of the pole and keeps everything looking neat. I like that it did not require any wall mounting and that it is portable to move to a new storage location as my vacuuming needs change. I have 5 different attachments on the included storage holder which means no more lost pieces. Overall, this is a great option for charging and storage. I would definitely recommend it for the V12 Detect Slim as it is designed well, functions as expected and looks nice. 5 stars! ... show more

Great alternative to wall mounting
This is a nice freestanding charging dock for the Dyson V12 Detect Slim. Check the compatibility list before buying as it likely will not work with other Dyson models. It looks good, has space for storing attachments and charges the vacuum while it is on the stand. This is much less hassle than drilling holes for a wall mount. The Dyson V12 fits as expected and charges. It isn't super heavy to move around but feels stable. ... show more
