I've been excited to try it out since I first placed the order. So naturally, as soon as it arrived I set it up only to discover-- 1/3 battery. Like most battery operated things, this is expected so I figured before I gave it the full, deep charge I'm supposed to (according to the manual), I'd just try it out for 15 seconds to see how it works. Woah. I was blown away. Now, we've got kids who track dirt in from outside and around. I don't claim out carpets are the cleanest. But when I used my other big-name (maybe the #1 Dyson competitor these days) stick vac with the floor attachment, it didn't really pull anything too big up. A little bit of dust was it, and usualy big pieces. The stuff you're used to seeing in the vacuum cleaner bag when you empty it. This wonderful, amazing vacuum (in just 15 seconds and on power setting 2 of 3) pulled up more tiny, miniscule dirt than I have ever seen before. Then came the charge. And, again, on a "clean" floor (with no visible dirt spots), I pulled an entire dust cup plus more. Still on setting number two. I've been going around the house all day vacuuming all over, including high-traffic areas. The most incredible thing about it is how it revitalizes "worn" carpet. I have some newer carpets and some older carpets. The older ones I figured were just worn. I mean incredibly worn. They were builders grade when the house was built and I haven't gotten around to changing them yet so I figure they're just well over their expected life. Would you believe this vacuum fluffs them up too? It doesn't make them perfect, but it's leaps and bounds better than they used to be. Now for reference, I get this performance out of my commercial-grade upright vacuum. It gets everything out. It's got a beater bar with a giant motor and it'll fluff carpets with the best of them. But it's loud and heavy and for those reasons not used daily. Meanwhile, our cheap-o upright, or our stick vac, or our handheld vac, or our multiple robot vacuums "clean" the house without, apparently, getting anything right. This is a lot of well-earned, well-deserved praise. But let's talka about the downsides. And so far there's only a single one I can see: The trigger power button. When you're vacuuming up a small mess in your kitchen-- fine. Uh oh, cereal on the living room floor-- wonderful. But when you're vacuuming your whole house? Or multiple rooms? Your index finger gets tired holding that button down. Especially with the myriad angles you need to shift your hand into to vacuum a house. Last, I want to mention something that may be an additional plus. Maybe it's just coincidence, maybe they were inspired by my excitement, but my kids have no stopped vacuuming the house with this since we got it. Upstairs, downstairs, just constant. It's like having a maid service with the vacuuming all beause we picked up this device. Final thoughts: I've been made a Dyson believer, and I think I'm done with other vacuums. All because of this item. Take that for what you will. 10/10

I ordered this Dyson Cyclone V10 Origin because I had already gone through two cheaper cordless vacuums before this and was tired of wasting money on models that sounded good on paper but could not actually keep up with daily cleaning. One struggled badly with pet hair, and the other drained the battery so quickly on max power that I could barely finish a room before it needed to recharge. I finally decided to try a Dyson because I wanted something that actually felt powerful enough to replace dragging out a full-size vacuum. The difference in suction was obvious immediately. This vacuum does a much better job pulling dirt, dust, and pet hair out of rugs and along edges where fur tends to collect. I have pets, so that alone matters a lot in my house. The Motorbar cleaner head also handles hair much better than the cheaper vacuums I tried before. I spend a lot less time stopping to cut tangled hair out of the brush roll now. I also really like how lightweight and maneuverable it feels. It is easy to quickly grab for smaller messes, but it still has enough power that I end up using it for full cleaning sessions too. Being cordless makes a bigger difference than I expected because I am much more likely to vacuum frequently when I am not fighting with cords or dragging a heavier machine around corners. This version only came with the crevice tool attachment instead of a bunch of extras, but that honestly has been fine for me because the crevice tool is the one I use the most anyway. It works well around baseboards, furniture edges, corners, inside the car, and all the annoying little spaces where dust collects. The vacuum also converts into a handheld pretty easily, which has been useful for stairs, upholstery, and quick cleanups. My takeaway is that this finally feels like the cordless vacuum experience I wanted from the beginning. Strong suction, solid battery life, easy handling, and much better pet hair performance than the cheaper models I tried before.

Upgrading from my older Dyson V8 to this model was a huge difference and honestly made cleaning feel much easier and faster. I’ve always loved Dyson products, and this cordless vacuum reminded me why. The quality and performance are amazing, from the strong suction to the lightweight but premium feel of the machine itself. It feels very well built and designed to last while still being comfortable to use around the house. The suction power is noticeably stronger, especially on carpets and rugs where it pulls up dust, dirt, and pet hair my old vacuum would sometimes leave behind. I also noticed the battery life improvement right away since I can clean most of the house on a single charge without feeling rushed. The different cleaning modes are very useful depending on whether I’m doing a quick cleanup or a deeper clean. The Motorbar cleaner head works extremely well on both hardwood floors and carpet, and I really like that it helps prevent hair from wrapping around the brush. It also converts into a handheld vacuum very quickly, which has been perfect for stairs, furniture, tight spaces, and cleaning the car interior. The included attachments are very useful and make it easy to clean areas that are usually difficult to reach. Another thing I appreciate is the advanced filtration system because the air coming out feels much cleaner compared to older vacuums I’ve owned. I did have to change the wall charger mount since my old V8 mount was not compatible with this model, but installation was simple and only took a few minutes. This review is for: Dyson Cyclone V10 Origin Cordless Vacuum This vacuum has been a huge upgrade for me. The first thing I noticed was how lightweight and easy it is to maneuver. It makes cleaning feel a lot less like a chore, especially compared to dragging around a heavier corded vacuum. The suction is impressive. It pulls up dirt, dust, and pet hair really well from both hard floors and carpet. I was honestly surprised by how much it picked up in areas that already looked clean. I also like how quickly it converts to a handheld for stairs, furniture, and the car. The attachments are useful and the cordless design makes it easy to move from room to room without thinking about outlets. Battery life has been good for my needs, and the overall quality is what I would expect from Dyson. It's not cheap, but it works really well and has made cleaning easier and faster around the house. THe price isn't even that bad, especially considering the brand.

I bought this Dyson cordless vacuum to make cleaning my small apartment easier and it has met most of my expectations. It’s light weight so I can maneuver easily and switching from floor head to crevice tool is quick so I can easily go from couches to stairs to baseboards.It does a good job picking up dirt, pet hair and crumbs on both hardwood and carpet, and the suction stays consistent even when the bin is half full.The battery lasts long enough to clean the whole place in one go, but dies faster if I use the max power mode.The only real downside is that the bin is small so I have to empty it quite often. Plus, the attachments take up a lot of closet space. But it’s a good choice for daily use.

Okay, so Sarah insisted we get a cordless vacuum – said it would make cleaning the apartment ‘so much easier.’ Honestly, it’s pretty impressive. It’s lightweight, which is a huge plus, and the suction is seriously strong, especially on hardwood floors. Assembly was a breeze, just popped the battery in and we were good to go. The only minor annoyance is the dust bin fills up *fast*, but overall, it's a solid performer and definitely makes tackling crumbs and pet hair a lot less of a chore. It functions as advertised – a really powerful little vacuum.

I have an aging mother who can still get around, but heavy things make doing her normal chores increasingly difficult, and that includes vacumning. So I ordered this for her, and not only does this suck a LOT more than her corded vacumn but it's extremely easy to move around. I don't know how they did it, but moving this around is EASY. I took a quick video illustrating this. Now it's not painful to vacumn anymore, she's said. (moving heavy objects back and forth is particularly hard on aging joints) Secondly, when using anything battery powered one assumes there is lessened power - this thing has more power than her old plug-in vacumn somehow. I don't know how they did it, but she vacumned using her old vacumn, and then re-vacumned using this thing and it sucked up all that wasn't sucked up with her old plug-in one. So I can't recommend this highly enough, it's great.
