I couldn't be happier with this vacuum! I've wanted one for a long time. I actually used one that belonged to a friend of mine years ago, when I was helping her to get her house clean and I fell in love with it...until I saw the price. So I thought, surely there are vacuums similar for cheaper. And I spent more than I could afford trying to find one. Only to be met with constant disappointment time and time again. I finally broke down and saved enough money to buy this one, and I'm so happy I did. Having tried so many others, I can honestly say it's well worth the price. I find it easy to maneuver. It's suction can't be beat. And of course, there will be trade offs with such a strong suction, it will be hard to push at times. Amazing product, design is perfect and so easy to use! Picks up anything first pass! Pet Hair kids mess dust dirt grass clippings you name it I live in the country and this is awesome to keep my floors clean. No more going over and over an area! Apparently, this specific model does not include a tool holder, even though it is clearly pictured in the instructions and even here on Amazon. So, the fix? Return the entire machine for a refund because there is no option to get the missing part, probably a $3.00 part. Given the images from DYSON and Amazon, it should be included. The packaging was exceptional. Put together instructions not real clear. It's kind of clunky and it's not easy to push Picks up dirt well Don't like having to step on the head to lower vacumn to push and when it lowers it makes a cracking noise

Buying this as a replacement for a Dyson DC14 we used for 15+ years. Easy to setup and works great, especially on hard floors. Works well on carpet too; however, it seems to need a lot of muscle power to push :-) Like others have mentioned, there is a provision for a tool holder on the side of the machine but was not in the package. Called Dyson Customer Service and was told that they are aware of the issue, and that the part is currently not available, asked me to call back in two weeks. They also assured me that once I register the product with Dyson, they will provide the part at no cost to me (even though the 30-day Amazon return window would have closed). ... show more

It’s missing the broad cleaning accessory and the attachment part for the accessories. I have an older model Dyson, the D25; it’s over 25 years old, and I paid $525. I like the new Dyson I just purchased, but I prefer the way the old one was designed. The wand on the old Dyson is steel; on the new Dyson, it’s plastic. Overall, I’m satisfied with it because I got it for $299. But I’m very disappointed that parts are missing and I have no way to attach the accessories. ... show more
