Buying this as a replacement for a Dyson DC14 we used for 15+ years. Easy to setup and works great, especially on hard floors. Works well on carpet too; however, it seems to need a lot of muscle power to push :-) Like others have mentioned, there is a provision for a tool holder on the side of the machine but was not in the package. Called Dyson Customer Service and was told that they are aware of the issue, and that the part is currently not available, asked me to call back in two weeks. They also assured me that once I register the product with Dyson, they will provide the part at no cost to me (even though the 30-day Amazon return window would have closed). ... show more

The packaging was exceptional. Put together instructions not real clear. It's kind of clunky and it's not easy to push Picks up dirt well Don't like having to step on the head to lower vacumn to push and when it lowers it makes a cracking noise

Great! Very satisfied. Powerful and relatively lightweight. Had another one the same for 3 years. Now this one feels like a breath of fresh air. Works easier and easy to release the dust at the end .

Great vacuum power. However, be aware there is no stair tool or a tool holder on the side of the machine. So, there's no way to keep the included combination tool on board. Even though the included paperwork shows this on the quick assembly card. You just carry it around with you.

Garbage. Terrible design to vacuum stairs and such. Switching between stairs and the floor the hose literally moves between the two, meaning this is an easy fail point. It’s only been about 1.5 years and I’m going to have to get a new one. Bought this elsewhere so no verification on my purchase.
