I had lost the remote to my dyson fan, and while it was still somewhat operable it was not convenient to find the power switch. I purchased this in hopes it be an exact replacement and so far that’s exactly what it is. It has the magnetic feature so the remote can sit on top of the fan, and all features work immediately. After much fruitless searching, I decided to buy at least one new remote......but would it work? Delighted to say, when this remote arrived and I took it out of the shipping bag, it worked immediately on both my fans. Purchased this black Dyson replacement remote. Item was quick to ship out and arrived right in front of my door within a day! And, it works with my Dyson fan!!! Sometimes you order replacement items and once it arrives, you come to find out it doesn't work. Wish they the same remote came in white for the same price. Remote works, happy buyer! ... show more

The black remote is the same as the white, but less expensive and it's easier to see it in my bed when it gets lost in the sheets and then I wash them with the remote in them. I've done that twice. So I'm liking the black one a lot.

Took it out of the box and it worked immediately with our AM06 10” fan. Although my fan is white, I ordered the black remote because it was showing a sooner delivery date. I don’t care if it matches or not. Does cost more on Amazon than if you buy directly from Dyson but Dyson shows out of stock

My mom misplaced her fan remote (more accurately, she had a lot of help from my two-year-old), and was upset she could no longer have the fan oscillate. So imagine my glee when I found this, and when it arrived and worked as advertised! She now has access to all the features of the fan again.

We were relieved to be able to find a remote for our Dyson fan as there are no manual controls and the pups found the original remote. Bummer the price is so high (previously purchased a replacement remote for TV and that was only $10 for OEM) but grateful it does work fine. No issues.
