  • Another Excellent Shark Product
Style: Navigator (Teal)
We have had the Shark Navigator for so years or so. It is still running fine but we moved it upstairs to not have to be carrying one u and down to clean. The new one is better than the basic model we had. It has unbelievable suction and clean wonderfully. It is a bit harder to move and is a bit noisier. Perhaps because it is so new and needs to break in. I think the noise is from the self cleaning on the roller. However with two dogs and long haired women it is worth it. Highly recommend. I have had Dyson, Kirby, Electrolux and Sears over the years and NONE of them come close. ... show more

  • POWERFUL
Style: Navigator (Teal)
WOW!! I had a Shark Navigator Lift-a-way, and after 15 years of faithful service, the hose tore and duct tape didnt work. After reading the reviews here on Amazon, I tried to find it in a store. But NONE. I pulled the trigger and ordered it earlier this week. Today, it came and I put it together. My carpet was ready for a good vacuuming. This Shark is AMAZING. SUPER STRONG SUCTION. I had to back the suction off a bit (easy to access, just like the old Shark. PERFECT! I used it on my carpeted steps. Perfect! The attachment for steps is not motorized and actually does a better job than the old Shark. (It had a motorized attachment not unlike the full-sized carpet sweeper) Now I wont hate doing steps!!! I used it on my smooth kitchen floor....works great. GREAT VACUUM!! The price is right. Everything I saw at Kohls, Walmart, were either way low-quality or too high of price. Glad to be able to post a positive review on this. I was worried to never find another vacuum as good as my old Shark. Hope this helps you make a decision. :) ... show more

  • Has some design flaws
Style: Navigator (Teal)
I’ve never had problems with Shark before, but this model’s design has some flaws that make me miss my old one. On the positive side, it has strong suction, works great overall, and is nice and light to move around. However, there are a couple of things I really don’t like: The cord is shorter than the previous ones I had. There’s no headlight, which I used a lot on previous models. Emptying the dust cup is much worse than on the last two Shark vacuums I’ve owned. Those I could empty one‑handed. With this one, you need two hands just to get the dirt bin off, and hair and debris get stuck inside so you have to reach in to pull it out. Very unpleasant. I’m super disappointed in this model’s design. If the lack of a light and the awkward, messy emptying system don’t bother you, it’s a solid, lightweight vacuum with good suction. But for me, those issues are big enough that I wouldn’t choose this model again. ... show more

  • Suction and function.
Style: Navigator (Teal)
I just bought this Shark vacuum and I feel personally attacked by how filthy my house actually was. I vacuumed SUNDAY. As in two days ago. Like I do EVERY Sunday. Today I tested it “real quick” in four rooms and a hallway and had to empty it four times. Four. I live in a dog fur simulation apparently. Me Likey: 1. This thing goes FLAT like a professional yoga instructor and just slides under the bed like “don’t worry girl, I’ll drag your secrets out.” 2. You can manually crank the suction from “respectful breeze” to “this will remove a man’s soul through his nostrils.” 3. It’s so light I can vacuum the stairs without imagining my obituary saying I died doing what I loved most, violently cleaning carpeted steps. 4. Speaking of the death stairs, the stair attachment is heavenly. My stairs look like I just had the carpet replaced. I cranked the suction and it pulled the fibers back to 2018. 5. Quieter than my Dyson. Not silent but more like “baby is sleeping, do not wake her” instead of “launching the SpaceX Falcon.” 6. The roller is self cleaning. Yeah you read that right. It eats the hair instead of just rolling up on it like your mom's hair curlers. Thanks, I hate it section: 1. The canister is stuck in 1892. I have to manually lock it in with two latches like I’m sealing pirate gold. 2. If you accidentally overfill it, congrats on the dirt cloud of shame blasting you in the face. I had to wash my hands twice and spiritually cleanse myself in holy water. Final verdict: 9/10. This vacuum just exposed Dyson as a loud overpriced air freshener. I’m both humbled and disgusted. I thought I was clean. Turns out I just owned a Dyson. ... show more

  • Huge Shark Fan
Style: Navigator (Teal)
Huge fan of Shark products! This one is no different!! Vacuum shows up, it’s great at what it does, easy to clean, easy to store, and durable. I thought my old vacuum was doing decent but it just didn’t feel right. Bought this and watched so much crud come out of my carpets. Great product!!!

  • Does What Vacuums are Supposed to Do
Style: Navigator (Teal)
So, what should be more routine than a vacuum cleaner? Well, when buying a new one there's a lot to think about. First, this is an electric corded model (and the cord is over 26 feet long.) Nothing is more annoying than the battery dying in the middle of a cleaning session, so that is why an electric corded model makes good sense. Second, if you have floors that are partially carpeted, and partially laminate, or hardwood, you don't want to keep switching settings. It is preferable to have the vacuum cleaner make the changes for you, or easily adjust from the handle. Third, a vacuum cleaner's first job is to pick up all sorts of dirt and stuff, and not throw it back into the air. Lastly, it should be easy to remove the accumulation of stuff through a bag, or canister. I am happy to say that this model does a great job of checking each of those boxes. The cord makes battery charging unnecessary, the brushes are multi-floor capable, it picks up like it should, and emptying the dust bin is simple. Very happy with this purchase. ... show more

  • Don't think, just click add to cart and check out! Don't think, just click add to cart and check out!
Style: Navigator (Teal)
I bought this vacuum on sale for prime days 2023. It was just delivered today 7/16. This is the 2nd shark I've purchased. The other was bought 2 years ago and promptly returned as it did not work well at all. So I was very hesitant to try again. But I have no regrets! I did spend several weeks reading up on other models. I compared the navigator to the rotator and all that. Even after weeks of thinking I could mot decide which to get because they all had great reviews and were attractive looking. Now, I cannot believe I paid so much for a vacuum without a retractable cord but I also can't believe that I waited so long! SHARK very clearly focused their energy on function vs fancy features and I'm not mad about it! My carpet is 3 years old. I am 1 person without children. I do have 2 cats and occasionally dog sit for family. I also live in AZ where it is very dusty. I do occasionally wear shoes in the house but very infrequently And my shoes are never very dirty. I don't keep windows open much bc of all the dirt and dust. I vacuum 1 to 2x a week with a Bissell that I have had for around 6 years. My carpet has been matted down in areas of heavy traffic despite it just being me living and walking here. Vacuuming has never made any difference in the matting. I got this vacuum today and immediately put it together and vacuumed the living room. I am stunned, horrified, FLABBERGASTED, and almost embarrassed. Please note I vacuumed on Monday this week. Today is Sunday. My robot vacuum went around the whole living room 3 hours before I used the shark. The robots cannister was not even a quarter full. I have attached photos showing how much yuck the shark pulled out of my carpet. I can't believe my eyes. I also attached a photo showing an area that was matted before and after vacuuming. The cannister on this shark seems to be pretty large capacity compared to my Bissell. It is not overly noisy. The handle is comfortable. It was very simple to put together. Took all of maybe 2 minutes by myself. The swivel steering does take some getting used to, kind of like learning reversing with a trailer on your vehicle. I have not tried any of the accessories yet so I can't say how well they work. But I would buy this again and again. I recently had a spinal fusion and spend most of my time in a great deal of pain. Using this vacuum did not cause any additional pain to my neck or back. My legs and arms burned afterwards bc it was difficult to push but I believe that's because of the amazing amount of suction this thing has! Long story short. Buy it. You won't regret it. Stretch before you vacuum. Pros: -amazing suction/ function -deep cleaning -easy to put together -attractive design -large dirt capacity. Cons: - cord is not retracted - swivel steering takes some getting used to - the very strong suction seems to me the vacuum slightly difficult to push. As far as the features I'm asked to rate, I do not have stairs so I can't say how it would do with stairs. But I can't imagine it would be anything less than great. I also have not tried the lift away feature. ... show more

  • So lightweight
Style: Navigator (Teal)
I have been dealing with another vacuum for months. After multiple complaints to the husband about my bad back breaking using the vacuum he decided to test it. He was literally appalled that I had been pushing, lifting, and dealing with such a heavy vacuum so he ordered this one. Wow my back is so grateful it is very lightweight. This has been like a heaven sent vacuum it is so lightweight. It is picking up the dog hair and dirt fantastically. We have five dogs so I deal with a ton of hair and this vacuum has gotten it up no problem. Easy to maneuver and it has a canister that is simple to empty. I guess if I have to find a complaint it would be that I wish it had longer accessories. I have to bend over quite a bit to brush the dog beds. I have had multiple back surgeries so this is uncomfortable. It has a great crevis tool that again I have to bend over far to use. This is overall a fantastic machine that gets up tons of dirt. It is offered at a great price. Having five dogs and one messy husband I would say it has been tested in my home and works great. We have all tile floors in our home, five dogs, and the suction power is strong. ... show more
