  • Highly recommend if you have pets!
Style: Navigator Powered Lift-Away (Teal)
We have three dogs and this is the best vacuum we have bought yet. Great suction and durability. It is a little hard to push on thick carpet. Other than that it is great! The filter cleaning is very easy. Eliminates dirt, dust and odors very well. Compact easy to store.

  • Such a good vacuum!!
Style: Navigator Powered Lift-Away (Teal)
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 Stars I’ve been using this Shark Navigator upright vacuum for my cleaning business, and it’s been a great investment. It has strong suction and does an excellent job picking up dirt, dust, pet hair, and debris from both carpet and hard floors. I also like that it’s easy to maneuver around furniture and doesn’t feel overly heavy when moving from room to room. The dust cup is simple to empty, and the attachments are handy for baseboards, corners, and upholstery. It’s been reliable through multiple cleanings each week, and the performance has stayed consistent. If you’re looking for a vacuum that cleans well without spending a fortune, I’d definitely recommend this one. It’s a solid choice for both homeowners and professional cleaners. ... show more

  • Has some design flaws
Style: Navigator Powered Lift-Away (Teal)
I’ve never had problems with Shark before, but this model’s design has some flaws that make me miss my old one. On the positive side, it has strong suction, works great overall, and is nice and light to move around. However, there are a couple of things I really don’t like: The cord is shorter than the previous ones I had. There’s no headlight, which I used a lot on previous models. Emptying the dust cup is much worse than on the last two Shark vacuums I’ve owned. Those I could empty one‑handed. With this one, you need two hands just to get the dirt bin off, and hair and debris get stuck inside so you have to reach in to pull it out. Very unpleasant. I’m super disappointed in this model’s design. If the lack of a light and the awkward, messy emptying system don’t bother you, it’s a solid, lightweight vacuum with good suction. But for me, those issues are big enough that I wouldn’t choose this model again. ... show more

  • Suction and function.
Style: Navigator Powered Lift-Away (Teal)
I just bought this Shark vacuum and I feel personally attacked by how filthy my house actually was. I vacuumed SUNDAY. As in two days ago. Like I do EVERY Sunday. Today I tested it “real quick” in four rooms and a hallway and had to empty it four times. Four. I live in a dog fur simulation apparently. Me Likey: 1. This thing goes FLAT like a professional yoga instructor and just slides under the bed like “don’t worry girl, I’ll drag your secrets out.” 2. You can manually crank the suction from “respectful breeze” to “this will remove a man’s soul through his nostrils.” 3. It’s so light I can vacuum the stairs without imagining my obituary saying I died doing what I loved most, violently cleaning carpeted steps. 4. Speaking of the death stairs, the stair attachment is heavenly. My stairs look like I just had the carpet replaced. I cranked the suction and it pulled the fibers back to 2018. 5. Quieter than my Dyson. Not silent but more like “baby is sleeping, do not wake her” instead of “launching the SpaceX Falcon.” 6. The roller is self cleaning. Yeah you read that right. It eats the hair instead of just rolling up on it like your mom's hair curlers. Thanks, I hate it section: 1. The canister is stuck in 1892. I have to manually lock it in with two latches like I’m sealing pirate gold. 2. If you accidentally overfill it, congrats on the dirt cloud of shame blasting you in the face. I had to wash my hands twice and spiritually cleanse myself in holy water. Final verdict: 9/10. This vacuum just exposed Dyson as a loud overpriced air freshener. I’m both humbled and disgusted. I thought I was clean. Turns out I just owned a Dyson. ... show more

  • It's ok.
Style: Navigator Powered Lift-Away (Teal)
Honest review after having this vacuum for a couple of months. Pro: It has great suction. So much so, that I have to open the vent quite a bit to even move it along carpeting. Great for pet hair and general dirt. Con: The hose is shorter than my last Shark Power LIft-Away DLX. The placement of the tools is such that I keep knocking the one hanging downward off as I vacuum. It's not snug enough when on. The tools are not great, so I kept the ones from my last Shark that are much better. The flat head has no buffer bristles, so it can scratch walls and won't work for lamp shades and delicate items. It swivels which for me, actually makes the job harder. The long one has a very small flat opening, where my other one was wider with a nice angle, making it great for crevices/corners. The dirt compartment is smaller, with a wider plastic cylinder in the middle, which lends it self to having to empty it more often, as well as having to routinely reach my hand in to pull out the dirt, as it gets stuck on the sides and in the top back. Just had to do it 10 mins ago when I vacuumed. It takes two side snaps to get the compartment on and off, where my last Shark I could do with one thumb quick and easy on top. On/off/carpet/floor switch was on top as well, whereas, this one you have to bend down for power/carpet/hard flooring. Summation: I kept it because with a family of 4 and a big dog, trying a couple other Sharks as well, I had to quickly decide. I gave it 3 stars because the suction is very good, but the rest needs to be improved to be more like my last Shark. I wish I could have purchased another one of those. That was an awesome vacuum. This one picks up a lot of dirt/hair etc. Really great for general room use. For fine cleaning like along walls, delicate places like lamp shades, baseboards, stairs etc, I find it to be subpar. It takes a lot more effort, bending, and time to use this vacuum vs my last Shark. I waited to purchase a new one until mine broke, so I was in a bind. I tried 2 other Shark vacuums, but found the suction to be lacking, so I stuck with this one. Would I purchase this vacuum again? No. Especially for the money I spent. I won't be sad when I need a new one. ... show more

  • It's a BEAST!
Style: Navigator Powered Lift-Away (Teal)
Stands up to the fur of 8 Newfoundlands. I'd given into the idea that a shop-vac was the only vacuum that could handle the amount of fur that coats my house. Literal garbage bags of fur exit my house every spring and fall, and the number of vacuums that have been beaten into submission, is beyond count. One day, my mother-in-law began telling me about this brand of vacuum. I am not going to lie, I scoffed. You could hear my eyes roll from across the country. I laughed. She insisted. I gave in. Holy words I cannot say in a review, Batman! I began the test run. I was impressed. Then I moved to the living room floor, upon which I had one of those "washable" rugs... The moment the vacuum began to glide across the rug; ok, let's be honest, there was no gliding. Aptly named "Shark", I was thrust back into time, a visualization of Mr. Mom, and "Jaws" entered my mind. I fought my whole life. It was stalking more than dirt, more than fur. If there's ancient cities or fossils under my home, I believe this vacuum was trying to, and could, conduct its own archeological dig! It was possessed, and powerful enough to conduct its own exorcism. My son has named it "the house destroyer 5000", because he swears it could suck the house off its foundation. But, I digress. We were talking about fur. Fur? What fur? I fear if I vacuumed my dogs, they'd look like they suffered from Alopecia. The carpets all look great! The washable rug, well, we talk about that in hushed tones; it's a little sensitive since the... "incident". Bottom line? It's incredible. I feel humbled. If you have dogs, you NEED this vacuum. ... show more

  • Great power
Style: Navigator Powered Lift-Away (Teal)
This Shark Vacuum is amazing when it comes to suction power. Thus the reason I kept it instead of returning it. For my preference, I have two complaints. 1) The cord is shorter than I like. 2) It needs a power train to help drive the vacuum over carpet. It's suction is so good - even when set on "Hard Floor" and the vent open all the way - it is difficult to push / pull on carpet with pile. It's even a workout on my no pile carpet. My former vacuum had a drive and I guess I'm spoiled to it. But it is hard on my back to vacuum with this vacuum cleaner. The lift-away canister is easy to use and does a great job. A brush attachment, which this one does not have, would be nice for cleaning blinds and such. The self cleaning roller does well with cleaning hair from the roller; however, it does get string wrapped around it. I give 4 stars instead of 5 since some improvement can be made. But overall this is a great vacuum. ... show more
