    • GOOD FOR A SHORT TIME, THEN IT SUCKS!

This smoker worked good for a handful of cookouts, then it shorted out internally! Now, every time I try to turn it on, it immediately trips the circuit breaker. I know it is the unit because it did the same thing at my neightbor's house (troubleshooting to make sure it was the unit). I had it for 11 months and used it approximately 12 times before I started having major problems. Also, the app that comes with the appliance doesn't work like it should. It will not let you control the temperature and shuts down the smoker every time you try to adjust the temp setting from the app. Right now I'm working with the company to see if they are going to replace the unit or not. I was told to turn in the receipt in order to get a new unit. I turned in the receipt, so now they are trying to put it back on my house and electrical outlets. Now I am currently going back and forth with Fatima Dechraoui at the GHP Group waiting to see if they are going to honor their three year warranty and replace my appliance! What sounded like a simple verify/replace procedure is turning out to be some very unprofessional customer service. More to come! Update 21 June 2020: The company sent me a circuit control board to try and fix the unit, but it didn't fix the unit. The replacement part didn't come with instructions, but it was very simple to swap out. I was told last week that a new unit is on the way. If I receive the unit, I will update my post and let you guys know. Check this out, the company didn’t send me a complete unit, but instead just sent me a stripped down smoker housing unit. And when I say stripped down, I mean stripped down! WTF am I supposed to do with that lol! I have to laugh at the situation so I don’t get angry! Apparently they want me to swap over everything from this broke down unit onto the stripped down housing unit. This is crazy! They could have easily sent me a new unit and called it a day, but they would rather waste time sending me part after part expecting me to troubleshoot/fix this thing! I simply gave up and I am done dealing with this company. I packed everything up and threw it all in the trash and just chalked this one up as a lost. Don’t waste your time and money when it comes to this company and their products! Be smart and shop/spend your money elsewhere!!!! ... show more

I bought this smoker in Aug. of 2023. since then, a switch on the panel no longer works. Called mfg. and they tell me the part is no longer available. They told me to send it back to Amazon. This is a decent smoker for the cost. I like the built in meat thermometer as well as the bluetooth capability to monitor your food as it cooks. The chip hopper is easy to access and the unit is aesthetically nice in appearance. On the down side it leaked from a spot I have yet to investigate. I purchased 2 (one as a gift) and both produced a similar issue with a leak (liquid). I smoked two 13 lb turkeys in it one at a time.     • Human mistakes

Great product! Super simple to set up and use. However, use caution when attaching handles to door and drawer. Some screws can be a little stubborn to remove. They come inserted into the handles; does make it easy to keep up with the screws. I broke one. I thought it would make it easier if the screw move inward some and then back out. Wrong!! My fault. One minor thing on mine: The seal on the door hinge sided top hinge didn't quite seal off tight. Simple fix. Remove hinge (after cooling down) and make a slight adjustment in the curve of the hinge. Don't rush it. It is better to remove twice than ruin it by hurrying. 100% happy with my Father's Day present. One final thing; it has nothing to do with the functions of the smoker. I am amazed at the speed of Amazon deliveries. Super service. My congratulations to each and every one of you. My wife was upset with herself for not ordering sooner; however, she never gave up that Amazon would come through and bail her out. Amazon did just that - 5 days early. Unbelievable!! ... show more

Arrived dented in several areas including the door hinge, Back legs were bent in and had to remove the legs and put cinder blocks under it, I had to bend the hinge back in place and adjust the door latches to make tight seal, I’m not going through hassle to return it, luck I’m good with tools, at least everything else works and app worked ok, just have to be line of sight, no good if you went in the house to monitor your cooking. ... show more

The manufacturer does honor the guarantee on this item. I did have a problem as the unit did not turn on, they replaced it without problem and the replacement works. I love the built in thermometer that makes knowing when the things being smoked are ready. Love the pull out drawer at the bottom for adding water and wood chips to the smoker without letting heat escape. ... show more
