Description

Cooking with charcoal is now stylish and functional with this stainless Dyna- Glo charcoal grill. Each cooking grate is made with porcelain enameled cast iron for maximum heat transfer and searing. Customize the cooking temperature by using the adjustment crank to raise and lower the charcoal tray. Reloading or stoking charcoal is made simple by opening the cast iron and steel access door on the front of the grill. The stainless smoke stack features an adjustable flue for additional temperature control. The lid and front firebox are double-walled to minimize heat loss and improve the burn efficiency of charcoal. The high capacity ash pan is removable for quick and easy clean-up.

The media could not be loaded. This is by far the best and sturdiest charcoal grill I have ever owned. We use it almost everyday since we got it about 3 weeks ago. I have grilled on it about everyday since I got it. Keep in mind it is a CHARCOAL GRILL. It will smoke a lot. Plus I like to add wood chips to my grill to really add that mesquite, apple, or cherry smoke flavor to my foods. The front side door is kind of a waist as I have never used it. I have noticed that the ash try at the bottom has to be empty out after about 2 rounds of cooking. I use about 1/4 to 1/3 of a bag 16 pound bag of charcoal briquettes during each cooking. I only give it a 3 star rating on the temperature rating because it’s a charcoal grill. Because as you may know you really can’t control charcoal as it burns. LOL!! However the easy at which you can raise and lower the charcoal is really amazing, and you can shut down all 3 of the dampers easily too.     • Pretty decent grill for the money...
the nicest have ever used anyway. I grilled on it tonight for the first time and I chose something that is typically pretty challenging...3 really thick steaks...like close to 2" thick steaks. Normally, I would sear each side and finish in the oven but this grill eliminated the need for the oven step. The grilling area is so large I only used 2/3 of it for the grilling and finished with indirect heat on the other third, where there was no charcoal. It worked beautifully and the steaks were perfect. The positives: Looks great Grills great Excellent heat control...the mechanism that elevates and lowers the charcoal tray works perfectly and easily. End dampers and smoke stack dampers all do their jobs. I think this grill is going to work fantastically for smoking as well. The negatives: Not much to complain about. The grill does not seal air tight so no saving of unused charcoal...it's all going to burn up but I am content with that because the ability to control the heat is so effective and easy to use. The grill is pretty time consuming to assemble, not difficult, but time consuming. I have all the necessary tools and plenty of assembly experience and it still took me over two hours to put this together. The parts are mostly well marked so there is no difficulty figuring out what goes where. The assembly instructions are, for the most part, good. The only thing I would recommend is that you ignore the instructions regarding the side shelves and install the support brackets to the side of the grill first,loosely, then install the shelves on the brackets. The instructions want you to put the brackets on the shelf, then install that assembly on the grill. It is much easier if you mount the brackets first. I particularly like the way the side shelf support brackets are made. The brackets are stamped out of sheet metal and are pretty strong but they also have open areas which are perfect for hanging equipment on. I am a long time hobby blacksmith and so I forged a grill lifter as well as a custom grill scraper/charcoal rake. There is also room to hang my grill brush. It works a treat.     • So many features!!!!!
Received a day earlier than expected. Relatively easy to construct, the main grill base and lid were already assembled. Parts were labeled and all screws/bolts separated and labeled as well. You will need a #2 Phillips head and small wrench to complete. My daughter and I unpacked and assembled rather easily. We did only 2-3 steps at a time in between normal housework duties. It also reduced frustration as those side shelves are the hardest to attach to grill. Read the instructions first, then place items you need and follow the steps. 1. The left grate is positioned lower than the right two and slides under them for additional access to the coal layer. This is especially handy for indirect cooking. 2. Did not notice then bottle opener until fully assembled. Nice extra. 3. Handles for airflow vents either side keeps fingers from burning when opening or closing. 4. Coal grate is adjustable up/down so can sear foods nicely 5. Chimney on top rather than just a grate opening and again, safety premium with a handle to prevent burns. 6. Heavy cast iron door in front to add or move coals during cooking. 7. Woven metal basket on bottom prevents water rust issues we’ve had from standard shelves. It’s where we keep our coal starters. We had a masterbuilt grill for 8 years that finally rusted through and had to be replaced. Since they seem to no longer make charcoal grills for a reasonable price research led us to this one. The stainless steel is a great features that I rubbed lightly with avocado oil to seal. The safety features and extra touches on this grill make it a great purchase. We do a lot of indirect, smoking, and BBQing not just quick grilling so this grill will serve us well. ... show more

We used our grill for a large BBQ at our house and it was able to handle a large amount of food -- chicken, dogs, burgers, veggies. The features make this grill easy to use and adjust to cook your food as you like it. It's also very attractive on our patio. It was not difficult to assemble as long as you have 2 people to hold and turn it as you go. My husband and teen son were able to complete assembly in 1 hour 15 minutes without any trouble. I suggest covering it when not in use as we found some water in the bottom tray after a long rain. ... show more
