I'll start off with saying that I like this thing so much! I've had it for 2 months now and used it more than 20 times. A lot of other reviews discuss the positives and I feel that I would mostly be repeating all the other positives here, so I will focus on the other aspects I've experienced for others who want to hear more everyday information about the product. 1. The steam come into the tent wayyyyyy too hot. I've scalded myself a few times on accident by just moving in front of the where the steam comes in. One time was rather serious and I had to go to the doctor for it. After that happened, I only use the sauna if I can cover the port that the steam come in by piling towels in front of it. 2. The pvc and tent set up feels a bit cheap and is rather laborious to assessable and disassemble for what it is. Ideally I like to hang dry it after each use so this is rather annoying. 3. The steam takes about 13 minutes to start after you turn it on and it takes another couple of minutes to warm up inside. The timer only goes for an hour so if you're planning to keep it running for 40 minutes after that you need to get out of it to keep the timer running again. Overall you get what you pay for, but it is so nice to have the option to sauna in my home! ... show more

I am piggy backing off other reviews. I love this Durasage Oversized Portable Steam Sauna Spa a lot! I've had the sauna for a little over a month and I try to use it daily because the steam feels so good to the body. I haven't had any issues so far, as I read all the reviews before I made the purchase. I got some large oversized shammies for the floor inside the sauna and sometimes I add two of the long black trays often used at the front door for shoes and boots to catch the steam and/or body fluid, which I remove after each use. Consequently, the quilted floor of the sauna never gets wet. Instead, I just remove the trays and dump the water in the sink when finished. Moreover, I always make insure the steam port is positioned horizontally, in a "Y" position, to avoid any accidents. I gather up all my accessories, such as, my bath and hand towel and shower shoes, while the steam is heating up. Since the timer only goes for an hour I understand if I keep the sauna running I will only get 40 minutes. However, depending on how I am feeling about how much time I want I either leave it running or I turn it back to the beginning to get the full hour. My only complaint is that the seat is on the small side and not that comfortable for the sitting an hour. Again, I am grateful that it works for the purpose intended. So far, I am extremely satisfied. Especially, considering the purchase price. One spa treatment would have cost as much. But I will keep you posted on how long the product last. Overall, I couldn't be happier. It's well worth the price and the seller's packaging and delivery time was great. ... show more

Wated to give it 3 and 3/4, but let's not split hairs.This product was easy to assemble, took me maybe 10 minutes. I like that it was very easy to set up and to use. I feel like for the money it does what you want, sucker gets hot. Took about a good 20 minutes after the steam stared to actually get notably warm, I stayed in for an hour the first time and definitely got hot and soaked. So considering that there wasn't a steam room/sauna in my house and I payed less than 200 bucks, yeah its pretty good. There are a few things that are less than favorable. The proportions are lacking. I'm 5' 4 and my knees almost touched the front. I did have to scoot the chair a tiny bit because the steam port on the back was roasting my ass. The chair is really short, my head barely cleared the hole. I followed the directions to a T but the movable bar that goes across the entrance was poorly designed. It opens by coming down. I couldn't rest my arms on it because it kept falling. I got this because I wanted to sweat to help cleanse the skin on my face. My face was the least sweaty part of my body. Unless you stick your head down in the opening it doesn't get much steam, even with the neck hole open a bit. I got hot for sure, and my body was dripping, yet I feel as though most of it was just the steam acting as condensation. The last thing that I had not expected that kinda rubbed me the wrong way was the clean up. It was a big time mess. It took me longer to clean than it did to put together, mostly because when the steam condenses/settles it just leaves water everywhere. My floor was wet under the sauna, there was a splashable puddle in the bottom when I was done. You have to wipe the whole thing out, it says in the instructions that if you don't get it dry it will mildew. I had a really hard time getting between the frame and the fabric to get it dry. I went through 3 towels and had to leave it proped up with a fan on it so it would get my floor, the underside, and the inside all the way dry. Still worth it, I'm glad I have it, it's just has some minor inconveniences. ... show more

Im 6'3" at 290 lbs. It fits me perfect. With the chair that was given. You could be 6'4" or 6'5" and be comfortable. My head barely sit up through the hole. I brought a taller chair. As of now it doesn't leak. Gets real hot
