This was a replacement for my signature water-rower machine and all I can say is that it is fantastic. I have now owned both the $1k+ water rower and now this one and I wish I would have found this one first. It’s beautiful, compact and has great resistance. The water level gauge is on the side so it’s easy to fill up. It came with a hose to fill up the tank. And packing was AMAZING!! There was a big hole in the box and I expected there to be parts missing but it was the best packed equipment I’ve received in a very long time. It has a calming rhythmic sound to it. I’m over 6’ and it is comfortable to row on. The straps that hold your feet are strong, much better than the +$1k machine (I would have stop mid workout and have to fix the straps, this one I don’t have to.) Shipping was amazingly fast and assembly was easy. Will be purchasing another one!

I have a Concept 2 rower at my home and I wanted something for my summer place. The Concept 2 is good but it is so big and bulky and takes up a lot of space. I was extremely surprised and happy with the quality and the compactness of this unit. It also has better resistance adjustment than the Concept 2. This is really amazing value for money as far as I'm concerned. It folds up to almost nothing and can be rolled around with ease. And it gives me a very good workout similar to my other rowing machine which cost four times as much. I am 6 ft 4 in tall and 220 lb and I fit quite nicely on this machine.

I love to row at the gym, so naturally I'm comparing this to rowers costing 10X as much. The machine is sturdy and well built and sliding action is very smooth, no complaints. While the rower appears to be rather short, it is more than adequate for me at 5'3" with room to spare (I imagine taller people would do just fine.) The "magnetic" resistance takes a little getting used to after using high end water and fan rowers, but after my first 30 minute workout I was getting into it. The resistance is more than adequate for my needs, I felt like I got a good workout even at resistance level 10 (it goes to 16.) The digital display is very rudimentary, and doesn't include a HR monitor, but of course if you have a fitness watch that doesn't really matter. There is a ledge to hold your device so you can watch videos while rowing, so that more than makes up for it. The seat wasn't quite as comfortable as gym quality equipment, but not too bad, either. Ditto the foot pedals, you can't adjust the straps to go lower on your feet if you have small feet (but I have big feet, size 9, so it works fine for me.) Assembly was pretty straightforward, everything was clearly illustrated and intuitive. It justs takes a little time to insert and tighten every bolt. Overall, for less than $200 with the coupon, and free Prime delivery, this was a great deal. The quality is higher than I expected, even if it lacks a few bells and whistles. It is a perfect addition to my home gym.

It arrived as advertised, and was very well packaged. The very first thing I did while starting the assembly was to drop the allen wrench into the wheel assembly; I had to take it all apart to retrieve the wrench. Assembly instructions were easy to follow; there were large pictures and accompanied verbal instructions. The seat is hard plastic, so I will probably add some foam to it. It is easy to use and is ergonomically comfortable. The wording at the bottom of the display screen is very small and cannot be seen except with a magnifying device, but the numerals are easy to read. All in all it appears to be a good investment. This particular machine is not for young, strong people. It is perfect for me at 72 years old; it puts a burn in the chest, arms, lower back, and legs. I like how quiet it is; even at maximum settings it is very quiet. It stores in a very small space. Let's see how long it takes to break down over time.

I have been wanting to add a rowing machine to my home gym for quite a while, finally decided to shop on amazon and found this product has great reviews, so decided to try this. and I'm very happy with my purchase, the package was heavy and needed 2 people to lift to move it to the workout area. and everything was very well packaged, it came with every thing needed to assemble, and took approximately 30 min to complete assembly, pretty quick and 1 person without any help. the rowing machine itself it very sturdy and smooth, i already have been using it everyday and it is great addon. lower resistance levels seems very easy, may be i use it if i want to warm up quickly, but i have been using 12-16 resistance levels which gives me the workout needed. the glider moves very smoothly and the hand grippers as well. foot pedals are adequately sized and grips well. overall foot print for the machine is also small, and can be easily stowed away, i wish the display has more options and slightly bigger with some graphics. other than that everything else is great, and i hope it lasts long and continuous to give me nice full body workout everyday.

It’s a decent rower so far. Came wrapped and taped as you can see in the picture, which was…. Interesting. Once you get past that, it’s an easy install. So far it’s a smooth rower. I’m 5’5ish and I can just get a full row out of it, so if you’re taller look elsewhere. Will update after a few uses and see if there are any of the issues others have stated!

I considered this piece for a year before purchasing for the family for Christmas. It went together easily and folds up for storage. The water in the tank adds authentic sound to the rowing experience, making it fun. A nice plus is the wood frame; the downside is it is very heavy, the wheels are too small to make moving easy, and it sits low to the floor, making it difficult for us older folks to sit down and get up. Overall, it’s a very good product.
