I was pleasantly surprised by just how easy this was to assemble. The instructions were pretty clear, all necessary tools were provided, and everything fit together quite well. The material looks and feels premium, definitely beyond what I would expect for something at this price point, and the inclusion of both lumbar and neck massage functions, together with a footrest for reclining, is solid. That its not ostentatious in design or coloration is even better! The seat itself is quite good, with a cushion that is firm enough to be supportive without being uncomfortable, armrests which adjust intelligently based on how you recline the chair, and lumbar and neck supports that do double duty as massage units. The massage function actually is really relaxing, just what I need to get the knots out of my muscles after a long day! Using does mean that the chair has to be plugged in, as there's no battery pack, but honestly not really an issue as I mostly use the massage function when I'm not actively working. The listing is reasonably accurate with regards to how tall of a person it can accommodate. I sit in it fine, but I suspect someone much taller than I am (5'10") might have some issues. All in all, this is a fantastic chair, especially at this price point, and I'm really happy with it.

What an upgrade from the gaming chair I've been using! I have one that had a vibrating heating pad and footrest - but it is so flimsy compared to this. The footrest never slid in and out correctly on my last one - this one it's seamless how easy it is to flip it out and rest comfortably on it. The assembly was incredibly simple, I did it all by myself in less than 15 minutes. It's easy to adjust (like the manual says, make sure to not over tighten the screws on the arms) It's extremely comfortable, the padding is ample and I'm not skinny by any means! The neck and back massage feel absolutely amazing. This was the final bit of furniture I assembled in my new apartment and with a little recline it felt like the perfect treat to myself. I ordered in gray but the company was out of that color. They offered me the option to pick another color instead and I apprehensively picked the black because it had red stitching. My entire apartment is black, orange, and muted blues - but the red stitching is actually subtle and looks a bit orange from where you see it, so it fits in perfectly with my color scheme. Really can't say enough what a quality product this is - such a great value for my buck. I will absolutely buy a Dowinx chair again in the future, not that I anticipate needing one any time soon. This seems very durable and so comfy I don't want to give it up!

I needed a new chair—I work from home, and my previous chair was getting wobbly after years of use and zillions of hours sitting in front of my computer. 😅 I was intrigued by the heat and massage features this chair offers, as when my workday is done, I usually put my feet up on my desk and watch something fun to unwind. Add some heat and massage to that unwind time? Sign me up! The hardness of the desk and high angle were making my knees protest, so having a footrest was also something I was interested in. It's super easy to put together; the instructions are clear and easy to follow. The massage features work like a charm! It took some finagling to get the neck thingy at the proper height for me, but I'm height-challenged, so that could be why. 😆 Once in the right place, though, it does a great job of working out the muscles in my neck! The seat is firm but comfortable, and there's plenty of back support. The reason I deducted a star is the footrest - it's almost an afterthought in my opinion. Remember how I mentioned I'm height-challenged? I kind of expected the footrest to be at my feet - instead, it hits about mid-calf for me. I can get *almost* there if I move the lumbar pillow out of the way and scooch all the way back, but if you're taller than 5', 3-1/2", that footrest will do you no good. On top of that, it's subtly angled downward, so it feels weird to recline (not even fully) with your feet hanging off the footrest and angled towards the floor. Maybe it's just me, but that's not comfy! Aside from that, though, this is an awesome chair overall, and I do recommend it!

This Video Gaming Chair is really terrific! I bought it with the intention of using it as a chair to sit in while doing regular daily computer tasks, and also to just have as an extra chair in my home for sitting, watching TV/movies and just overall lounging in general. It arrived with everything needed for assembly, which was quite easy and straightforward, if I might say. Unfortunately, however, there was a major problem with the neck massage component…it arrived damaged, as the strap that is used to hold it onto the chair was completely frayed and broken…in other words, it was useless and could not be attached to the chair itself. I contacted the company and they were absolutely wonderful in their response, both with how kind and understanding they were, and how quickly they shipped out a replacement part for it! Unfortunately even after that, there was an issue with the delivery of the replacement part, if you can believe that! The company was even more helpful after this sad turn of events, and issued a partial refund for the inconvenience that occurred. So, even though I have not been able to enjoy every aspect of this awesome chair, the customer service has been absolutely outstanding!! Now, back to the chair itself…it was so easy to assemble! Aside from the damaged neck massage pillow part…the entire chair assembly took me, on my own, only about 20-25 minutes to assemble, and let’s just say I am not exactly what you would call a “handy-woman!” I’m sure with two people and/or with someone who is a bit more capable than me, you could assemble it even quicker! The chair itself is very comfortable, I love it! I can sit in it for hours, and I suffer from severe back issues…so that is saying a lot! It has a great heat/massage feature for the low back, that is a main reason why I purchased this chair. Sadly, obviously I cannot comment on the neck massage aspect…but even without that I am thrilled with the comfort and massage capabilities of this chair! It has a nice look to it, and the material of the chair is a nice, faux-leather type that is easy to keep clean. Love the size, too…it isn’t too narrow or small like some of these chairs seem to be! The black color is very attractive, gives it a nice, modern look and feel! I love the wheels and the slight recline action that makes it mobile. I will say, I don’t really use the footrest, but I’m glad it is there. Overall…I give this chair a very enthusiastic five out of five stars! I would highly recommend it, and would buy it again if given the chance…I especially would recommend the company, Dowinx, because of how incredible their customer service is! This chair is worth every penny, and then some!

Excellent chair. Needed one for my kiddo heading to college. I almost didn't let her keep it. Adjustable, comfortable, and the massager is surprisingly comfortable and relaxing, particularly with the heat. Assembly was a breeze, and it feels solid compared to cheaper chairs she's burned though. Fits me as a large dude though I'm probably at the edge of comfortable in it at 6'4" 240 lbs. For her, it's perfect and she's quite happy. Only complaint is the plug is a little to short to not need an extension to be useful, and I personally prefer cloth chairs. She loves the material and an extension chord is easy to grab. Would recommend for anyone looking for a quality chair

Wow - I love (almost) everything about this chair. I have to say, it was one of the best packaged products I've ever received via a shipment. Additionally, the box had everything needed to assemble and set up. The instructions were crisp and clear, with normal size print (not that 2pt print that sometimes comes when vendors try to save money). I love the comfort of the chair and the ability to recline back and rest. The foot rest is great for me (5'3") but not a great addition for my nearly 6' tall daughter and 7' tall husband. The lumbar support is nice with the vibration/massage feature. The neck shiatsu massage is nice, and you can move it down a bit for someone like me - a little vertically challenged, lol. But it works nice and feels great on the shoulder area. My only dislike is that the power cord for the chair is really short - so you'll need to be reasonably close to your plug (maybe 5ft long?). I would make 2 recommendations to the manufacturer - 1: Make the power cord longer so you're not so closely tethered to a power source. And 2: Add heat to this chair to make it 100% amazing. I find it to be a great value for the price. PS -Was very comfortable to relax and nap in when I had bronchitis and pneumonia earlier this month - being able to lay back some while allowing me to be upright was wonderful!

This Dowinx gaming chair is legit! Took me 35 minutes to assemble unboxing and followed easy directions. It’s really comfortable and roomy. I’m 240lbs and the chair stay stable and no wiggles like others I’ve tried. The height adjustment is easy to reach and fits you leg length. The material looks good with faux carbon fiber accents. Value for the money, it is well built and looks to last a long time. The massage for lumbar and neck are nice to kick back and relax. The buttons are easy to access on the sides. I will definitely keep buying Dowinx chairs in the future and can’t wait to see what they come up with next!

I would rate it a 1/2 star if I could. chair is super uncomfortable, with the lumbar cushion removed you feel like your back sits on Plywood. The lumbar cushion doesn't massage it slightly vibrates. and the neck massager sits at my shoulder blades (I'm 6'1"). The cord is so short that you can't have it plugged in or you can't roll the chair back. I don't normal leave bad reviews but I didn't want anyone else to fall victim to the false web description
