Installed this AMP/Sub under the rear seat of a 2000 Jeep TJ. With the limited space in the old TJ it was the perfect option. The sound quality is great and added the right amount of bass. For the price point you get everything you need for installation and it has clear instructions.

I installed it in a 1965 Mustang. I knew it was not going to fit under the seat, but about 1/4th of the unit wedged nicely underneath the driver's seat, and the rest of it completely disappears with a floor mat. I made it easily removable for car shows. As for sound, it is not meant to be a thumper, but it definitely filled in the bottom end that I never had, especially trying to stay as stock as possible. So far the unit has been dependable, and for the price? As long as nothing negative pops up in the near future, I would definitely buy it again. ... show more

I put this in the trunk of my 2003 Miata after installing a new stereo unit and 6x8" coaxial speakers. It sounded OK but really needed more bass. The install was straight forward and typical of these powered woofers. After installing the sound is amazing! It totally filled in the 50 to 160 Hertz range, and you can feel the added bass. No, it isn't a street shaker, but if you want to enhance your stereo with more bass it's great. I would have given 5 stars but the wire they give you is copper plated aluminum. ... show more

    • Fits in a Ford Bronco and it’s loud!

The media could not be loaded. I was skeptical because originally I purchased the 8 inch. It did improve the bass lows and it is perfectly fine if you don’t need booming sound. However, the 10” has 1000 watts of boom! It seems twice as loud and I almost have to adjust the knob to turn down on some songs. My bronco did not come with any decent speakers or sub so I replaced the rear and all front speakers and added a kicker key. However, you don’t need to do all that if you are simply looking for more bass lows. Also, if you are wiring this thing I highly recommend you wire the high end connector instead of RCAs. I found it to be better with no after sounds rumbles when idle and it seems more stable. Wired that directly to my front kicker speakers and the yellow auxiliary which is Aux 1 on the bronco. The wiring diagram made it easy to match wires. I put a wiring nut in the small ground wire basically capped it off. The main ground wired to the seat bolt beside the amp. Cleaned all the wires up with loom and wire tape sounds amazing great value. Pay the extra few $$ for the 10”. Hope this helps someone! ... show more

Based on other reviews, I expected more BOOM. Installed in a 19’ searay ski boat to supplement 4 existing marine speakers and round out the full spectrum sound. Unfortunately, it’s only noticeable at 80-100% max volume but then, I’m “that jack@ss” on the lake.

if you have a Tundra 2022 non-JBL stereo and 9x speaker system, this subwoofer by itself made an incredible difference in the sound quality. I tested the music only with subwoofer upgrade and honestly speaking, it might be the only thing you need to listen with decent quality. Later I upgraded all speakers in doors and dashboard with Kenwood and improved it even more but, if you want to make a difference without going through significant work, this subwoofer is an easy upgrade and might be more than enough! it is a great product! ... show more

I have an old farm truck with a Dual media headset I paid 28 bucks for new that I hooked up to four JBL stage 2 4 x 6’s. Of course the speaker size just had no capability of providing any lows at at all and no punch. I gave this a try and it was a hundred bucks well spent! With only 188 dollars spent for everything it actually is a pleasure to listen to while out working. The 8 inch sub woke it all right up, way more than was expected. ... show more
