It was largely for the purpose of enhancing the coziness and atmosphere of my living room that I used this product, and it has proved to be an excellent additional component. I love this little electric "fireplace". I bought it for my cats and while they haven't warmed up to it yet (pun intended LOL), I find it so peaceful to watch the flames dance. Occasionally I will put the heat on the low setting, it pumps out some serious heat! I haven't used the high heat setting yet because our house doesn't get very cold even in winter. I decided to keep the little legs off so it fits on my windowsill by my bed. They are easy to attach and detach and only add about 3 to 4 inches in height. ... show more
